  • Moving jobs I went from 1 meeting a week to multiple a day and all It has done is made me think my new job has no idea what is important priorities shift almost daily due to other meetings that I'm not a part of and nothing gets done properly because we dont have time to refine.

The goal should be to have as few meetings as possible because it means they are unnecessary. If you have a plan for your backlog set, you don't need to meet up for an hour every week to sort it out

  • The injury was unrelated to the weights themselves. It was a lack of understanding of how to correctly do lunges. But I appreciate the advice.

Just in case someone else is in the same position. Do not think of it as pushing your knees to 90 degrees. Get in position, loosen your knees and focus on moving your hips down. It's the same principles as squatting but in a different position

  • Extremely mixed. Last year my mental health was probably at its lowest after realising how bad my health was (weight and muscle atrophy from becoming a hermit in COVID times). I did a lot of work and I was finally able to go on walks daily without being exhausted and that felt really good. This in turn gave me more energy in the day and that also felt really good.

Also started doing weights. That didn't feel as good. Making progress was nice but I was basically always in pain or aching, and when I wasn't, it meant it was time to work out again. After exercising and the muscles were popped, it felt really good but that subsides. And seeing muscles like that start bringing out the body dysmorphia badly. It was the best Ive ever looked and it made me feel awful. Then I injured myself and it got it was even worse.

Tl:Dr light cardio yes, weightlifting not really

  • You can't punish, only reward. Reward players who don't kick during a campaign with the premium credits, even if you need to adjust your shop values to make it feasible. It won't completely mitigate it and it may punish people who are actually getting trolled but one seems far more prevalent then the other and it should affect at least a small amount of the high players who want cosmetics and don't have the money to pay for them

  • Agreed. No need to make him a scapegoat. He's just supplying money from corporations into the hands of people who could use it. It would be better if we didn't have to do it this way but I'd rather that then corporations just keep the money.

  • The main caveat is the the group they try to be included with is associated with "pride" and we can't endorse pride in pedophillia because it's immoral. Even if you don't act on it, you cant be proud of it. I think the idea of encouraging them is nice but the encouragement almost feels like it should be part of a support group which obviously doesn't help.

I would rather identity and kinks be separated for the sake of the movement but I think there's arguments behind the difference.

  • Some notable games still stuck on the PS2

    • Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 1/2
    • Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga
    • Valkyrie Profile 2
    • Onimusha 2/3
    • Atelier Iris 1/2/3
    • Shadow Hearts 1/2/3
    • Fatal Frame 1/2/3
    • Cold Fear
    • Echo Night Beyond
    • Haunting Ground
    • Ape Escape 3

And that was just me picking stuff with some noteriety

  • I mean we can pick at things. Americans put marshmallows in their potatoes and eat cereal that are the same shade as crayons. Asians put cheese slices in their instant noodles. Italians eat Prosciutto and Melon, The French eat Escargot and Frog. At least most of these are consider guilty pleasures or 3am grub rather than cuisine.

  • Sorry if it was confusing. I meant that you wouldn't use a trigger warnings because it is beyond that. It's literally presented to trigger. A warning that it could trigger is almost useless because it's only purpose is to trigger.

  • Appreciate the work. There's a desire to spread awareness but there is a place. There is a demand for trigger warnings in today's society and that stems from a desire to avoid topics. Dead bodies in particular shouldn't need a trigger warnings because it's clearly a trigger. That is the goal of posting it. Just because you think the message is important doesn't give you any further rights.
