  • I have to take a break from my hobbies on weekends, imagining doing it 5 times a week for that long is exhausting now being paid to leisurely do something I love at my own pace, sure but you bet your ass doing that I'm also gonna end up hating because it will make way less and I'll be frustrated at my pay and savings.

So yeah, if you are rich, and want to be an artist where you paint 3 hours a week, I'm sure you'll love it

  • I'm not sure why this became popular. I'll easily spend £8 to watch a 1.5 hour film so why would I limit myself on a game I could enjoy if it's short. I just play games I think I'll like. I'm not picking up a 100 hour multiplayer because it's better value

  • Ok, I see. I used a poor choice of words, my mistake. I meant this in terms of moderation work. Since the platform would provide tools for user to mark their work as AI generated, it would reduce the administration per community. I'm struggling to think of a better word? Assumed Resolved?

  • Actually finished both my current games and a freebie.

Luigi's Mansion 3 started great but its pacing feels bizarre by the end. The floors started feeling pretty long and then you have two boss only flaws in a row, then a good floor followed by two more boss floors. Maybe busting out so many variations hurt it be size the ordinary floors always felt the most enjoyable.

Tunic started off enjoyable but the gameplay never hit and the last secret I did made me angry with how it was presented.

  • When you say 90% if you mean that literally, then you might be like I was as a teen. Basically when I unlocked what was the final dungeon I would stop playing, it wasn't because I was burnt out on the gameplay though but the opposite. The story had a finite end, the story could basically be inferred and I was no longer interested.

The thing is because I never got closure I thought about some of those games alot and would often replay them so when I went to university I ended up going through most of the games from my child and teen years and getting closure and it feels great to be honest.

  • Automation Assumed it's already resolved rather then manual work (per community). It would also allow people who are adamently against AI to filter AI content in subs that could now allow them, following the filtering ruleset.

Edit: Automation was a confusing word when not talking about actual automation

  • It's a touchy subject for a large contingency of creators and AI rules are enforced by nearly all art communities in there guidelines (if they have them). A rule manually enforced by a large quadrant of communities is a good example of when a feature could be useful.

  • I'm in agreement with most in the replies. And the easy solution to both is to just fill your front-page with the good stuff and block stuff. Basically I blocked all news subreddits (except upliftingnews) and followed smaller communities instead of generic ones. Then stopped using All.

  • I think you've got the obvious stuff on lock. You've been off Nintendo for so long I have to ignore my impulse to try some older games . You've missed the entirety of Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, Fire Emblem (in the west) and warioware so all are worth trying. If you liked Devil May Cry on Playstation, its definitely worth trying Bayonetta also.

  • Many Brits thought this before the election. It was pretty much the exact same scenario as Trump winning, it was such a silly idea that no one could even believe it would happen. Unfortunately you just get a biased view of the situation from getting all the info and conversation from online
