And even if you don’t care about the plastic particles, most bottled water that isn’t just tap water is sourced unethically. Not too mention how these companies, like Danone, Coca-Cola and Nestle, are probably lining politicians pockets to prevent the development of potable tap water in many poor nations. It’s crazy how a country like Indonesia where it rains all the time doesn’t have drinkable tap water.

Yeah but “smaller OS” doesn’t mean shit nowadays when even the slowest device can run a Linux desktop environment.

What do you mean smaller Os? There is a PSP mod that puts a Raspberry Pi inside it. Raspberry Pi runs a Debian fork. Sure it’s not fast enough for Steam games but it’s still a Linux desktop environment.

Of course nobody can match BYD, they don’t just own the supply chain the Chinese government subsidizes every part in their supply chain. The Chinese government wants to crush foreign competitors. The BYD cars they sell in the West are pretty decently build. I’d be more worried about the aftersales services. Chinese electronics companies always have shitty customer service. Like Lenovo and Huawei. And since a car always needs some repairs during its lifetime I will never buy an EV from a Chinese brand unless they have proven to have good aftersales service.

As long as you only use this Mickey in artistic work then it’s fine. If you start using it as branding and marketing like slapping that Mickey on a box of cereals then Disney will come after you because they can say your product causes consumer confusion and consumers associate your product with Disney. Which violates the trademark.

So if you want to make a Steamboat Willie 2 the promotional material needs to be very clear that it’s not a Disney production.

They lost the copyright of the Steamboat Willie characters as well. So the Steamboat willie version of the Mickey Mouse design is in the public domain. All the other Mickey Mouse designs are still under Disney’s copyright and they still own the Mickey Mouse trademark.

So yes you can use Steamboat Willie Mickey in anything you want and create derivative work.
