First level support staff generally aren't allowed to have creativity. They just follow the script and then pass the problem up when it's something they can't handle.

Google releases plenty of projects. It just cancels them after a couple years.

I buy these really cool magnetic charging cables. You put an adapter in the charging phone port and the cable just attaches itself.

I understand what they are, I'm asking if there is a name for the category of characteristic that they both belong to.

I'm not entirely sure there is a word for it. If not, maybe there should be.
