  • I don't think it is wrong for people seeing that they were in the wrong: so long as they are taking the steps to acknowledge they were part of that problem.

Though, in reality, Hannity just sees the monster they just woke up. These results will be a pretty good indication of what the presidential election will be like.

57% of a state is a severe disadvantage at the best of times, when you don't have a candidate with 2 indictments against him for election fraud and 1 for rape.

  • It was a different perspective on an imperfect galaxy and one that felt like it was lived in.

    Not just Aliens visit earth!

But a new perspective like.... what if just because we have faster then light travel, racism didn't go away, and it had laser swords and near super human abilities powers!

  • Defenders always have home field advantage.

Basically means in war, if one side is attacking and one side is defending, the odds are in the defenders favor. As they can deploy mines, IEDs, traps, advance structural defenses, turrets, and ambushes locations.

Which is why it was so stupid to invade Ukraine in the first place and why it is going to be hard for Ukraine to take back territory.

  • Hey.... Hey boss. I got an offer for ya. How would you like a crypto that you cannot take off of reddit! Only exists on Reddit. And gives you "exposure."

  • Community Points

At least the way I see this going.

$$$ ------ Reddit ------- Redditcoin -------- Community coin ------- Weighted polls in your favor.

Did you see it? Where the money went? It doesn't go to the creator, it goes only to reddit, the person that posts on reddit only gets community points. Which can only be used for "Premium services like a reddit subscription"

Think if twitch.tv basically took all the money you donated to a streamer and only gave the creator "exposure" for his hard work.

  • I had to do a triple check on that, my first thought was that this was probably taken before the event, but there he is, right below the American flag, with the white shirt.

  • There would be the need to set up liability insurance and the procedures and premiums would just be too expensive compared to other states that won't have those issues or hindrances.

It would be like telling you had to spend $300 on a fast food burger, when the other states only charge $10 - $15.

  • There is also a problem that most of the jobs right now are unable to pay rent on their own, so some people are starting to work 2 jobs.

So whenever I hear record employment, I wonder what that statistic would be if it only counted people that worked a single job. How many people in our workforce only need one job to survive in this economy?

And how many people that work two jobs are still living paycheck to paycheck?

  • Once Forbes realized they could influence a stock price, it was over for any journalistic integrity they had. I don't know how anyone can take them seriously, when literally all they write can be condensed down to "Ultra-capitalism"

  • What most of these statistics don't show is that the republican party is shrinking.

If I have a 10,000 people in a room, and remove 6,000 of them from the room, then sample the remainder and tell you that 70% of those people believe that aliens built the pyramid, you'd be shocked, but what I didn't tell you is that the 6,000 who were removed, left because they thought my claim was BS.

So even though the statistic is high, I imagine the MAGA base is shrinking as more evidence comes out. Maybe not by strides, but by slices.

  • It's part of the information dump we have been getting on the case.

Whatever can't be used in a court case, or is such a minor detail that it wouldn't help the case further gets leaked to the public.

This can be done for different reasons, but in this case I would speculate it is to put social pressure on Giuliani to cooperate or force him into a corner.

  • The difference being provable claims and speculation.

For example, I speculate that Biden appointed the french ambassador because she may have bought Hunter Biden's artwork.. But I can only speculate because I have no evidence to match my speculation.

I don't hate Trump, I even gave him the benefit of the doubt when he was first impeached. I sided with republicans and thought that was a bit out of character.

That being said. More evidence came out. One point doesn't draw a conclusion, but a bunch of dots start forming a line.

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

He did it, and I wish he hadn't, but he did. No one that is innocent that is as rich as Donald Trump gets that close to prison without screwing up majorly.

  • On one end, I believe most of us can see the republican party is outright embarrassing this idea that they hurt the poor.

On the other hand, a leader is defined by his successes, not his failures. No matter how charismatic he might be. He is already clearing student debt in a different ways, So I am not counting him out yet.

But I also know the dangers of overpraising democrats for starting a project and not finishing it.

  • My sister was panic'ing about this yesterday, I told her it was the dumbest idea I've heard.

And I've seen Logan Paul's Zoocoin. Hell I'd double down and say I'd put my money in zoocoin before worldcoin.

In a world where Bitcoin and Etherium already exist, what does a coin like "Worldcoin" bring to the stage?

    More complexity.

Of course there are problems with modern crypto, in terms of security, but a system that can be hacked more easily then the blockchain is for sure not the answer.

And a project that is LESS CONVENIENT then modern crypto, with less security too. Get the hell out of here.

  • Good to see common sense get a win for a change. Kind of scary that it had to go so far though.

  • Hell, they didn't even stop fighting when Wagner was doing a zerg rush on Moscow.

If they can fight when the country is at the brink of civil war, then they will be just fine during peace talks.

  • It's not "news" in the sense that something extreme happened, but because these "pages" are usually the nephew of the Senator, or the Granddaughter of a supreme court justice, or the son of a CEO of a bank.

This is a public "Denunciation" of this dude, so the REAL people in charge don't bite them, when the families go after an "Apology"

  • I think what separates us from people like him, is that we can be empathetic about a situation. We can see human suffering and be like "Yea, that sucks"

He is clearly unwell and should be getting help, not doing press conferences and making political decisions.

  • My question is why do you assume that the default conclusion to be “and therefore the vaccine is worse than the disease” instead of “and therefore we should focus on the safety of vaccines recommended for literally billions of people worldwide”.

I will give you that, I don't think it is wrong to ask questions about health safety, that being said, I don't think people understand what things like MRNa have done to speed up the medicine industry. Or what it will do going forward.

We are going to see cures for cancers using this method.

So do the populace have a point? Of course. Safety should be the backbone of science.

Does that mean the vaccine is unsafe because we can produce it faster? Not at all. That is progress. it means humans are getting better at fighting these kind of diseases.

Because it isn’t relevant to the claim. Would you consider it reasonable to (mind the dated reference, it’s an easy example) go under a tweet about the 737 max being grounded to tell everyone that car accidents are more prevalent?

It might be a footnote, but it is relevant to the science observer who is trying to take your safety question seriously. That means looking at all facts, even the ones that are deemed "pointless" or "Inappropriate" by most people.

Information is how we understand conclusions. And when information is hidden the conclusion has a chance of being wrong.

Which is not fair to you or me who just want to know the truth. Even if it is an ugly truth.
