If you upload an image from your browser, there's a little popup in the corner for a few seconds that allows you to delete it again. No such thing exists in the apps though and if you miss the popup, that's it.
Russia won't dare to use nukes as long as the fighting happens within Ukrainian borders. Putin and the oligarchs aren't willing to lose their kleptocracy over a piece of land they only tried to get because they felt it was a safe move. An actual NATO intervention would be a way out of the conflict for them without losing face.
I've used old.reddit for over 10 years but looking at it now I realize that I just never had a better alternative. The default Lemmy interface is so nice and clean that I'd never even think about switching again.
Tbh I've never used anything other than Nvidia hardware on Linux and I've only ever had some minor annoyances over the past 10 years. Nvidia has a bad rep in this community because of the closed source drivers, not so much because of stability or compatibility.
I experienced that too and ended up just disabling the timed sleep mode. Not sure if it's actually related to KDE software or just a Linux bug in general though.
That's what I've been wondering about huggingface in general. Their hosting costs must be massive.
As for HuggingChat, it's basically a LLM with web search capabilities. You can even choose the model that you want to use in the settings. Sort of like a more "open" Bing Chat or Gemini.

While I do believe the official numbers that the Ukrainian government has released, it's also important to note that these do not include military personnel that are missing in action. The actual number of dead is still unknown and likely will remain so until the war is over.
