  • As it is tradition

  • Absolutely. I first saw the movie a few years ago at a local horror festival and loved it. It has held up really well, in a very cheesy way. Still, a sequel would've surprised me... and a video game? I never would've guessed that.

  • I don't even mind the use of AI art in this context, but the fact that they couldn't be bothered to do a little touch-up speaks a lot to the quality that can be expected from their show.

  • Hell yeah. That and Colin McRae Rally 2.0 were my favorite race games back then.

  • Unfortunately I lost most of my collection in a smoking accident.

  • I'm oddly excited for this game. The "human tank" aspect looks surprisingly fun and I'm glad they didn't hesitate to make it an R-rated title.

  • "Emo boyband member" was my favorite rare prigo :(

  • It would be extremely painful

  • Pretty sure you'll have to ram a shopping cart into the wall to get there.

  • Quality reporting.

In reference to his 13-year-old son, he wrote: “Lost a bet with Karl” followed by the “disgusted face” emoji.

It's obviously "disguised face", not disgusted.

  • The 1995 Mirage was one of the most fun cars I've ever owned, I'd take it over any newer model.

  • I love these little guys, they were all over our garden when I was a kid. It's been a few years since I've seen one unfortunately :(

  • That is almost the same as my setup. I've got a 1TB SSD as a boot device, a 500 GB SSD for games and a 5TB disk for everything else.

  • Hm, that's actually a pretty good analogy. I haven't thought of it that way before.

  • I'd say these are both pretty extreme perspectives. The F16 is not going to be the wonder weapon that leads to instant victory because Russia still has a lot of anti-air capabilities and the F16 is not a stealth platform. It will however have a role in countering their air raids and long range missiles.

While there are some parallels to the trench warfare of WW1, the constant capture and subsequent loss of ground is not what's been happening. There is (slow) progress being made at multiple fronts. I'd say a more accurate comparison could be to the allied breakout from Normandy in WW2.

In any case the F16s will be a valuable weapon in Ukraine's combined arms.

  • I don't see any reason to care about that as long as they aren't forcing their opinions on anyone tbh.

  • Wouldn't they theoretically be able to set up their own instance, federate with all the larger ones and scrape the data this way? Not sure if blocking them via the robots.txt file is the most effective barrier in case that they really want the data.
