I swear I thought there was something like this last year. Like for some reason rederer sits in my mind as the culprit.

Yeah. I never liked our wierd leadership roll but this is totally not the way I wanted to disengage. Wanted others brought up rather than us sinking down.

I like to peruse all and just block anything I have no interest in. People get wiereded about blocking but subscribing is functionally the same as blocking everything you did not subscribe to. I would love something like wiki foundations trust cafe as part of the federation where you can assign a 0 to 100 value for things but in the meantime figure if your really into something you subscribe (100) and if you don't care about it all block (0) and everything else is basically then a 50.

See and this is why we need to subsidize poor old coal. It can't compete without it. Won't someone think of the miners! /s

62 percent could be 7 months all the time and 5 never right? So if those 4 months only get you 20% but the others give you ninety something. When I see that 62 I see it as over half the year it will work out good.

This. I am seeing 40's for entry level in tech. This pretty much puts it at the point were everything people fled to go to tech was at. Im also seeing larger wages more for management than technical ability.

I find the tone of these articles as desperately trying to point to any negative as inconsequential and every positive as the sure thing. It reminds me of many things like the 08 housing market and such. Trying to prop up sentiment.

I definately feel this way. Outside of the federation my use of the net now is just paper work, technical work, meida streaming, and video games. Which is a lot of but the fediverse goes tits up and nothing like it comes to pass my only social media involvment will be as necessary (my condo has a facebook page and job searching sites are technically [and creepily] social media but I just put in applications and don't look at the feed I don't want.)

I mean there is place in between highly skeptical and anti. I think its a faster and more convenient search as long as it gives sources and it makes creating and editing media easier. I don't like the energy usage and do like work bringing that down. Its just trying to get it to solve things on its own that seems to be pushed when we can clearly see it not working when used like that. I think the biggest issue is its crammed in as a solution and it works in the most half assed manner and they want to say that fine.

Im a bit mixed with this because yeah if it was going to be conserved with stewardship given to native hawaiians or some such then it would be great. On the other hand if its going to be turned into hawaii's first great coal mine....
