The main thing now is you are past those every four or so years are different really. The real adulting phase (unless you go to grad schoo :) . Your still in your twenties so this is theoretically one of the better times. Can be on your own but still young enough to party. Once you hit 30's your life is more marked by how aging starts to effect you. Live it up.

personally I don't take online things to seriously. not sure if I can say anyone I have not met in meatspace is a friend. just acquaintances really.

No one I have been really close to has been gay that I know about but certainly had some acquaintances and I can't imagine just ignoring a girl is gay and trying to get into her pants. some folks don't find marriage much of a turnoff though so maybe they would find gay not much of an impediment. Although your saying he was concerned if you had a boyfriend so I guess that was important to him. I have had gay guys suggest stuff but it always seemed in jest and not creepy.

still amazes me that the brackets end in the low six figure territory when we have billionaires. I remember a supposed quote from the head of the irs back in ww2 times about how his job was to figure out elvises taxes. Like because he was the highest paid guy. Man to have rich folks proud to pay taxes as a patriotic duty. Those were the days.

yup. its one of those things were people do it for reasons beyond money. Its not hard to find something that pays higher in the private sector for the lower levels. Not sure about the higher levels but if they get something with similar pay it will likely be a whole lot less stressful.

yup. I will admit though that as you get higher a larger percentage of folks think they are rich and support the wrong side. Had so many docotors complain about taxes and talk conservative politics wise and im like dudes you are just over the top tax bracket. the problem is there should be more brackets that go higher not that the top should be decreased. Heck your bracket can't be decreased till its not the top one.

old. no children. no idea. At first we did not want to have kids because it did not look like we could provide them with a good enough life but then it became clear we (humanity) had not been and will not do enough for the environment and it was like who would want to bring kids into humanity's foreseeable future. I have nieces and nephews though. I hope they do alright.

If you have your older maching around I recomend putting linux on it. You will see how fast it runs on the old hardware and pretty soon you will not be ablet to wait get it on the new hardware.
