    Which looks like this to you: ::: spoiler [Spoiler description] Hidden text ::: And I added the image in my first comment because the custom hexbear emojis look really massive and make it hard to read threads when viewed from other instances due to some slightly hacky workarounds that were made so that hexbear could federate with the rest of lemmy but still keep all of it's special features (well, most of them at least) since it runs on a fork of lemmy that no other instance uses rn (our admins are apparently working to try and fix the problem) ::: spoiler if I'd typed it out normally and sent it instead of as a screenshot it'd look like this:

    It would be a shame to defed because I like some of the communities here and like these are the two biggest trans instances, so like, hopefully it doesn't come to that

    I literally had someone from lemm.ee openly being enbyphobic in my replies to one of my posts in 196 and they didn't even get banned, just had their comment deleted.

    In hexbear they wouldve been banned within about 20 minutes of making the comment after being publicly bullied, blahaj.zone isnt as queer friendly as hexbear because it's not as unfriendly to bigots.

    Blahaj is still my second favourite instance on Lemmy after hexbear because it's like the second most queer friendly instance and I've had a lot of pleasant interactions with it's users, but still, to say they're more queer friendly than the instance that was willing to basically rip itself in two and stitch itself back together to remove transphobes seems a bit much

  • It was a dumb joke, it's what Prince changed his stage name to for a while, and so for ages magazines just called him "the artist formerly known as Prince". It's just pronounced as "Prince"

    Idk how to pronounce the weird symbol either so I'm simply going to assume it's pronounced as "Ur" and read it like that
