You definitely don't need to know anything about writing code to use Linux! The closest thing to it is the terminal, which is something you basically never need to use on a standard setup like Pop!OS or Mint. I've gotten plenty of my friends using Linux, many of them have never even had to look at a terminal.
I'm sure you'll be ok sending me your social security number, home address, bank login details, credit card number, a copy of all the files on your hard drive...
One thing I always noticed with any of these windows 7 themes is the notable lack of the aero glass texture - aka the diagonal lines that show up atop the aero window effect.
It's so subtle, but the only way I was ever able to get it working in a Linux environment was with (I think) Emerald and Compiz back in the day. Would be curious to know how possible that is with modern theme engines
I used newsboat and synced the files for it for a long time, but lately I've used a selfhosted instance of MiniFlux. It has a super simple UI, and importantly to me, has keyboard shortcuts for all of the most common actions.
Just gotta say, I didn't expect to see emojis in a username, and I am both appalled and impressed
