  • no, your not missing anything much. He says it could have been worse so yay, only ~100+ people died. Which even if texas had taken every reasonable precaution, one death would've been too many. But of course they didn't, and trump doesn't think thats a bad thing,, so yes, he's celebrating the death of hundred(s)

  • The rose gardes deco has gotten controversy, but a green space seems way better then drab concrete. Such a tall flagpole wont even be seen in press conferences. I bet he got stuck in some mud and got mad, and the flag pole is a vain attempt to say hes got a huge pole..

  • It'd be even funnier if they had "Would you gamble with those odds?" in a real serious tone, trying to make it relevant to gamblers, but yeah gambling addicts go yeah, 4:1, "I win these" "the quiters go bankrupt, gotta roll to win"

  • I still meet trump supporters that are avid trump supporters but complaining about polic harassment, and in fear of ICE, they say its not what trump wanted, they have thier own radical agenda, I ask them who gave the greenlight.... alas, critical thinking has been going away, to enact any real change we need these avid supporters to wisen up to the snake oil salesman, because yeah if we dont they'll put on thier antifa caps and call trump a martyr.

  • If I am understanding it correctly, a stay at home order was issued because the shooter was still "at large" having shot at authorities and then fleeing. The time the protests was supposed to be was covered under the stay at home order.

I think the protests should happen if at all possible, but I understand not wanting people on the streets when there is a known gunman about.

  • with seeing the Homeland Secretary floating using military force to overthrow the CA government and arresting a CA senator for asking questions, all in the same "news brief"

A very good question indeed, when is it truly justified to punch back? Because we look back in time and say they should have done something...why not know?

My family says not to do anything overt right now, like join the protests...so we dont get on any lists and can join a more covert resistance when it all blows up.

  • I thought it already had, I swear I rember some scientists finding or creating something, bacteria fungus or something that processes some polymers and they where tryna get ot to out and eat plastic ig so they can put it in landfills everywhere.

  • Very good points, yes. Stage 5 and 6 are individual and rarely develop, and none of it is a one size fits all, as vygotsky's sociacultrual theory proposes, a persons cognitive development and how they put meaning to things, concepts and actions form from thier environment, society and culture. What we see as good or bad is dependent on our respective cultures, and can be easily hypocritical. Psychologically is a very intresting field because we dont have a definite answer on most things, the mind is textbook subjectivity.

We are taught the 6 stages of moral development not as a fact but to provoke thought on moral development in context of concrete operational thought (Which itself has shown to be subjective) and how our modern psychological understandings stem from. however the first two stages give a fair idea of pre-concrete-operational moral reasoning, so we can better negotiate reason with children.

  • If you find ths intresting, research "Kohlberg’s Stages of Moral Development" most people only achieve conventional moral development but many remain at pre-conventional until 40+ years old.

One of the topics for child development (Which covers conception to death) I learned.

  • Yeah he'd try, Smartiest Economier he is. interstate trade is generally critical, but a good chunk of agriculture in the U.S.A. is in CA (Powerd by water from the hoover, yes) throw in Silicon valley, Hollywood, and Napa, CA putting tarrifs on the U.S.A. would hurt too, maybe more.

  • I've been talking to alot of people about something like this. If CA didn't pay federal tax, and all of it went to state, CA would make more money. Don't want to incite insurrection...but I think we could do alright by ourselves if push came to shove.

  • I dont think so, but If you think it has, contact JAG. Went to lookup if they have hotline, CAL GAURD JAG was apparently a trending search....

no hotline but front desk # for CAL GAURD JAG is 916-854-3505

not the same thing but UCMJ reports and legal questions are JAG's bread and butter

  • The removal of bezels on phones, the camera cutouts sometimes have issues and its all together worse, just for a technically larger screen, and Apps, so many apps are just packaged web browsers, but with more access to private information and such.
