I say this a lot but I'd happily pay for YouTube if the company didn't run it so arbitrarily

I wonder if they aren't using the "stop and look at image" - trick with css/js. So when you scroll you're supposed to center on the next image. Also stops the scrolling to center

Especially as it's half the price of a product made to guard against frost that lasts basically forever. Because on the north American continent, it is much cheaper to have something that you just run day in and day out instead of only when needed. How much is 400 kWh in CAD? I don't know what 12 old bulbs cost, but I know the life expectancy was about 1000h or so. I wouldn't pick it anyhow, the heater is cheap as dirt

Actually I agree, it's a pretty good source of heating elements. I've scavenged from some old toasters and sandwich iron

But you'd have to replace it often. The space heater can also have frost guard so it will turn on when the temperature goes down. Imo it's the better option

Why not just have a small cheap space heater that lasts forever and for light source, the LED?
