According to that article, RFK suggested creating a place where people can clear their mind and free themselves from addictions and dependencies, through activities and exercise to improve health and clarity.

Doesn't sound like a labor camp. Michelle Obama tried doing something similar but everyone ignored it anyway. I'm sure you know what I'm referring to, where she has several kids TV stations blacked out in order to coerce kids to go outside and exercise.

If RFK made that voluntary, it may seem beneficial. If he even goes through with it, because that article is from July 2024, when he was still a presidential candidate.

This is how I feel, actually. Free education and paid training can rule out the need for any DEI initiatives, no matter what color/ethnicity, they're qualified because they received the education and training that they need.

But then again, I can understand why a white manager would rather hire a white person.

But whose to say a black manager wouldn't do the same and just hires black people. Or any race. Wouldn't you feel more comfortable with like minded people rather filling up your store with "diverse employees" ?

It's a crutch that MOST people have. Like leftists only hiring leftists. Or conservatives only hiring conservatives.

Like you said, if the "diverse employee" is less qualified than his white counterpart, hire the more qualified individual.

If you've ever visited any VA hospital, you can see how many shitty people they hire, especially when half of the doctors are just interns. And no one gets fired.

You can be trans. But you don't need to broadcast it. No one cares. No need for pride parades either. I think parents raising their kids to be more decent and accepting of their peers would be more effective than forcing people to accept it.

You already have rights. You just can't list it as an achievement or qualification on a resume , or expect to be hired just because you're trans.

Abortion? If you have unprotected sex knowing what the true purpose of it is to reproduce, then you should have the child.
If you have multiple abortions because you keep having unprotected sex, that's irresponsible. Abortions should be limited to rape victims, underage females, incest, and if the mothers life is endangered.

95% of abortions are because of elective reasons. They chose to abort it knowing that they can't afford a baby or whatever reason.

Men also should realize that unprotected sex can lead to pregnancies, so they should take the same amount of precautions.

Prison inmates as slave labor? They shouldn't have broken any laws. They have to contribute to society or be rehabilitated somehow. Another interesting point. Should prison be a punishment or rehabilitation? I know it's a bit of both but which way should it teeter?

Hopefully you (we) become less miserable as the years go on.
