Most of the time it's disguised behind being in small units (small thin cookies or crackers, liquids, sprinkles and powders) where eating too much is "your fault for being hungry enough and eating the whole box" not the manufacturers for making it adictive and unsatifying. Try eating a whole cheesecake, or deep dish pizza in one sitting.
The motivation for this is baffling to me! Being anti-homeless apathetic and trans makes no sense. Pandering using the (widely kown) trans flag rather than the (universally known by even the most sheltered) gay pride flag makes no sense. Only guess is it was spraypainted by someone else

Yes. Its like riding a bike up a hill vs down one, making it "ligitimate" according to the machenery skips the mandated step of prosicution where the kangaroo court is at least semi-visable and at least faintly accountable to the public.
Ive allways wondered the point of putting presedents like this into writing, I beleave the reason is to ligitimize it. From "we can do evil but our court trial will look like Trump's trial, and thats a headache and a risk". Now it is "ligitimate" to break the law and a "just action done for the good of our nation".

Usually if its a boolean or nullable, a good config file will have a # uncommemt this line to enable this feature/disable this feature/bind to this IP address/give this thing a name that is at least vaugely hints what the option does. But yes, its still fairly annoying.
