I dont beleave OP is saying they personally want that. I think their saing the snake in the photo beleaves that they will get to be the boot someday

Long winding UI Dialouge trees that you can get "stuck" in! If my settings are invalid, let me out of of the menu with as little consiquences and sacrifices as you can manage. I may need to back out to go grab data or change a setting on a page you decided to make before (hell even after) the one that wont let me continue and/or go back.

Windows's "wizard" style dialouges just suck!

• Excesive round corners
• Excesive padding on apps.

Its so you dont cut yourself on sharp edges or hit your head on the UI elements. If not the literal function than certanly ment to envoke the feeling of crib padding.

Theres somthing off about th econflicting uniformity of a grid of squircles.

Is that because Color != Material? That computer colors is an oversumplification of physical material surfaces? Is it the fact that colors are rounded to the nearest integer (commonly) within a 0-255 range for R,G and B? Or both?

Last I checked, you can have a system app as an accessability provider and be enabled by default

A Haxe like compiler except it uses Rust like traits rather than java like classes. It compiles to an intermediate language thats basically assembly but for high level languages and then into your language of choice.

Oddly enoigh, they recognize this and are patching the hundreds of tiny holes. I would argue they began trying (IMO malformed) fixes back since the launch of windows 8 and .NET. It's backwards compatability means tiptoing around some pretty huge tech dept. (Windows was DOS and had no security model at one point) Each time they try to pull people off of their older SDKs. If and when they dont stick, the pile of stuff to support grows one more.

(Also WTH where they thinking with windows 8 apps!? The oversimplicity of the UI leading to huge patches of unused screen space, the art design or lack thereof, the janky unpolished UI elements. It's embarrising for how much pride they had for it.)

WSL is Linux On a Budget. Its rough as hell but hey, if its all you have practical access to.

Im sorry, this is stupud! Customers are saying, "this service is unsafe, i dont trust my data isnt being used against me!" I remember the teacher calling out "I cant see your screen" constantly and for unfair reasons, on chromeOS you can (frequently on accedent) abuse the security systems made to limit the damage of rouge extensions. Mainly the "no screen sharing on chrome:// and file:// tabs pages". I also found a glitch that got patched to run the browser part on a higher privlaged UID (possably root? somthing related to OOBE? the lock screen itself? IDK). It was unstable, dangerous for the OS itself and could go to any site you wanted, this account had a blank chrome://policy and no extensions so anything was fair game. That got patched fast tho. My small group of friends still got to keep their chrome://flags changes even after the patch.

Older = Less eyes than when posted. (And thats ok.) For particularly dead subs or the news subs, Less eyes means no eyes.

without a bumping system, fresh eyes will check the first 100ish and say "I have seen everything here" and their clients will mark it as read. I want to see notifications for more than just repliesto my own stuff.

Some subs are so niche/dead and Without markers like replies it can feel demotivating.
