If 1 is more than "enough", how many screens are enough then? Technically, if you never need any visual feedback from what you're doing with keyboard and mouse, then zero screens would be enough.
Set feed to All. Scroll. See interesting topic you want to see more, subscribe to community. Interested in specific topic? Search for community in communities page. Once you gather enough subscriptions, set feed to subscribed. Scroll.
If you don't have any specific content that you want, set your feed to All and sort by Hot or Top Day. Scroll it and if something sparks your interest go to the community where the post was made and subscribe.
If you are interested in specific topics, click search and type the keyword. In Jerboa search function only looks for communities, based on keyword, but in website you can set search to either posts, comments etc.
Ah, thanks. Looks like beehaw.org is still federated with lemmy.world, but just in one direction since at https://beehaw.org/instances lemmy.world is in the blocked list.
which should show which instances are federated. But at the moment it doesn't seem to work for me. Just loads infinitely until "something went wrong" pops up.
