Yeah I know. I wish our brains were less dumb.

I absolutely think there are some things as a species we should not put up with, racial supremacy hate speech being one of them. At the same time, because there is other content out there which some people dislike but which is not harmful, I wish we could stop worrying so much about what content ads are sitting next to.

I view Mastodon as a publishing platform. You follow some creator, and they post stuff. You can comment on it, boost it, maybe others will comment on that but probably not. It's not for discussions, just like twitter.

By contrast Lemmy and other redditlikes are super forums. Discussion is the point.

I love proton, but the black friday deal is for their family plan and visionary plan, unless I am missing something. Both of which are way more feature and cost than I need.

I heartily recommend proton, but check their other plans too. The family plan with a discount costs 3x as much as the one I am happily using.

Whenever I log into teams on my home PC, Firefox pops up to be like "hey, teams is asking to use cookies from microsoftonline.com is that okay?" It's possible Safari is enforcing something like that but without the prompt.

Nice choice on both. Death Stranding in particular I think I put more effort into building infrastructure to trivialise or avoid walking than I did on anything else. And I loved it.

1 do, buy sometimes it can be important to make sure you mean I and not 1 (and definitely not l) if you're writing a code of some kind.

I am still a little unclear on what this means. Isn't the idea of passkeys that they're stored on your PC's TPM? What does Bitwarden "supporting passkeys" mean in that case? Are they not stored on the device if you use Bitwarden?

Sure, I'm generally in favour of more options when feasible. Hell, if someone wants to skip 90% of a single player game, more power to them. Hell, any non-competitive online game too, though I doubt many publishers would consider not charging extra for it…
