  • Yeah I absolutely do not care about that. I also won't bother to get a 4k TV until I get some banger clearance deal or something because it does not fucking matter. I grew up on tube tvs dude, anything that isn't fuzzy is golden. Most of what I'm playing is either indie or ancient, and seeing giant pixels in perfect clarity does nothing to improve the experience.

  • You want access to games or services that are either better or only available on Windows without having to deal with the desktop Windows interface. That is literally the reason to buy it. Game Pass and popular live services can woo plenty of people over.

    What would that be exactly? Gamepass already works great on linux, it's a better experience on my steam deck than fighting with my windows laptop.

    It seems like the main audience is people who are scared of Linux and just don't want to learn something new.

    I guess it would have the same nutritional value, but that's not really why you drink milk. Like, I could eat peanuts, grapes, and bread for a healthy meal, but I'd much rather have a PB&J (probably with a creamy glass of oat milk).

  • Did you read the whole article? They followed up by exposing kidney cells to the extracted micro and nanoplastics and they caused significant amounts of cell death. There is definite evidence that something in these plastics is causing harm, and more study is definitely warranted.

  • They aren't going to change you view on life, but most are pretty solid. I highly recommend pretty much any books in the High Republic era, particularly "Light of the Jedi". It's the first of the new era and it's a great introduction to the setting. It's all set a few hundred years before the movies, so the Authors were able to pretty much do whatever they wanted within the basic Star Wars universe.
