  • I'll throw in a few that I enjoyed (all pc with a controller):

Hollow knight (probably the common favorite). Fun gameplay, interesting story, felt like a great entry into the genre as someone who didn't like them previously.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Really interesting farming mechanics to unlock new skills and fun combat. I think I liked this one mostly for the gameplay and don't remember the story much.

Grime. This one felt really, really clunky at first. However, like most games in the genre, it really picked up at one point and I enjoyed the whole experience. I think there were some sections that really dragged on but overall a fun game with interesting movement, mechanics, and enemies.

  • Taking pleasure in the (self inflicted) suffering of others, but voting for and supporting policy change to fix that suffering seems very different from actively participating in the increase of suffering of others.

Not everyone has to be as holy as thou to not be evil.

  • Fallout 4 with the settlers of the wasteland (I think that's the name) mod becomes a cool base management game alongside the normal fo4 stuff. It makes the whole system feel worth interacting with, in my opinion. Give it a try if you haven't and are interested.

  • It's very different handing my ID to a store clerk, who barely looks at it because my birth year starts with 19, from uploading a photo of that ID to a sketchy service who now has a permanent documentation of precisely who I am and what sort of freaky shit I'm into.

Sure, the tracking services already know this, but they don't also have a photo of my ID that I willingly gave to them to prove it's me.
