  • This is potentially misleading and dangerous as drinking too much caffeine in general is bad for you. The average person is fine with one or two black coffees a day, but energy drinks have two to three times the amount of caffeine per serving. I say this as someone who had a nervous breakdown at work from too much coffee AND almost gave myself a heart attack from energy drinks when I was younger. Caffeine is fine in moderation as is any regulated substance, but it is much easier to consume too much caffeine from an energy drink. This isn't even taking into account the extra sugar that energy drinks have in them.

  • The only thing I have to say is I couldn't get away from Samsung fast enough. The bloat is just ridiculous (like do I really need two voice assistants that I can't uninstall AND two stores for apps?), the UI is an abomination, and the camera processing always made my eyes bleed. As someone who dabbles in photography I hate that the camera prioritizes being vivid over all else. Probably the only good thing I can say about them is the build quality is great.

  • The name REALLY doesn't help. Like, I know the women there are not under age for the most part because I have seen them around since I was in my 20s, which was 20 years ago. It's not my thing, but there are people who are attracted to slimmer proportions so whatever. Still, the name makes it sound like it's a CP false flag site.

  • Yeah, but some people love unnecessary drama. It's the reason most social media has gotten where it has. Stupid drama does nothing but stress me out and make me more of a misanthrope so I try to avoid it.

  • It is just Chromium and the hate most likely comes from it being made by Microsoft which is completely stupid because it's not like Google is any better. In fact, I would say they are worse that Microsoft since their business is entirely reliant on selling user data. Microsoft at least has other avenues of income allowing them to not completely relying on selling your data to the highest bidder. Let me be clear on this, I am aware that they all sell data because that is the business they are in.

Also, Edge preforms better and does not phone home to google like other Chromium browser so...

  • The main issue is that they communism is economic policy, NOT social policy. While they do go hand in hand people often conflate the two. Many dictatorships use communism as a way to control the people but that doesn't mean that communism leads directly to dictatorships.

  • I somehow missed the antitrust thing, but it's not unexpected; especially considering they use Bing as their search index. Thing is, there isn't really a better search engine if you want to limit trackers as far as I know.

  • Jokes on you. I've never used Chrome (outside of work limitations). I always liked the way Firefox looked over Chrome so never really got into it. I do use Edge Chromium every so often since some pages work better, but not sure if this would apply or not.

Also, does anyone know about the Duckduckgo beta browser, specifically what engine it uses? I tried it on a couple pages, but it seems pretty buggy right now.
