I am currently using Sync, and while I agree that the UX is better I can also understand why so many on the Fediverse are against similar apps. They are here because corporations have ruined every other good thing on the internet and non-FOSS is very much associated with big corporations. While I would prefer that Sync were FOSS I also see the reality of Western society and how untenable creating an app would be without some kind of ad revenue. A majority of people are notoriously stingy and donations can only get you so far.
Mostly it is just that navigating feels much smoother. On the other apps it feels a bit clunky to navigate. Of course I should have prefaced this by saying your mileage may vary, but it isn't really about the features. In fact, if I'm being completely honest Sync is missing some of the features that the FOSS apps have.
I mean, Sync is in beta and already has a tablet mode. I like all the other apps, with Connect being my favorite so far, but you can definitely feel the lack of polish.
Don't get me wrong, I love the telephoto lens, but I have a strong feeling I would sacrifice the extra lens for a smaller screen. Then again I do watch a lot of videos so who knows. I think the biggest problem is there isn't really a way to test the two side by side to see.
Sure, but that's not why this is happening. More likely it's younger generations of people growing up with their friends having an iPhone and peer pressure forcing them to want one as well their parents buying them an iPhone because it's what they know.
Then you're shitty American ISP throttle you for too many downloads. Fuck I hate Comcast, and no they are not fooling anyone changing their name to Xfinity.
It's, unfortunately, a Pixel problem. The Tensor G2 is notoriously bad with battery life, and the fact that every manufacturer thinks we want paper thin phones doesn't help.
I feel like Google really hit their stride with the Pixel 6/7 series. The 7 series especially is just such a nice phone to use and doesn't feel as cheap as previous iterations of the Pixel. It's also great value for the money. I went with the Pro and would recommend against it honestly, because while I like the extra camera and the bigger screen it really doesn't fit great in the average persons hand and the features don't really justify the cost. If I had to do it over again I would get the 7 or 7a.
Here's one: it's/its
Now tell me which is possessive.
