Oh right, it's not like gaza had a democratic elections where Hamas won... (And then ran a coup murdering the opposition). Israel chose the (what seemed then) less of two greater evil. Clearly they were wrong, and they faced the consequences on saturday.

Oh so because the other side is weak they're supposed to just sit idle when they murder pillage and rape? You're disregarding all the brutal fights Israel has fought against its neighbours as "they're strong so boo hoo". They also have thousands dead. They're also terrorized daily. Just because they're stronger doesn't make them less right. Again, they of course have a responsibility in this situation, but come on. Please tell me of any rocket launchers hidden inside a hospital Israel has. Blaming solely israel for the palestinian miserable lives is half the story. A big part of it is their terrorist leadership who take advantage of their poverty to promote a gruesome war they started (not talking about these days, talking about 48, where all the UN agreed on something and they chose to invade. Since then both sides are fully taking part in this war.).

Clearly you don't understand what I mean, since you're not that knowledgeable in this conflict. Palestinians' leaders final goal is to get the 48 borders back. Nothing less and nothing more. And to that I said that it's been 70 years, and you'll need to grab it by conquest to get it, since the people lived there an entire life, and will never give it up. The leaders from both sides need to understand that any further border change between them will only make things worse, and the ones who started wanting to conquer was Palestinians. Now Israel is doing the same, but after many years, in which they got more right wing and more national, because of course they will when their busses are bombed by terrorists on the other side. I'm not saying Israel is clear of charge, I just say that they started better than Palestinians, then got more national as time went, because obviously - their enemies are murdering rapists. Palestinians are consistent with their desire to destroy Israel, Israelies have been building up to it (talking about each of their leaders, a.k.a the ones who matter).

You blame every Palestinian death on Israel? Seriously? Maybe condem them for the war of 48, but that was 80 years ago, and it was started by Palestinians (and other arab nations who were just racist towards jews) but people in Palestine don't live miserable lives purely because of israel. They have sky high poverty, dysfunctional leadership, an education system focused on murdering your neighbours. What will come out of a people wanting to just rebel against everyone? They rebelled in Jordan, they rebelled in Egypt, they rebelled in Lebanon, and they rebel in Israel. What this people need is a country to take them in, not trying to build another failed country in the middle east (whilst killing/exiling 7 million people in the process, as they oh so desire). Israel would never think of kicking out Palestinians from gaza/west bank if they developed themselves instead of focusing on death. They don't want this headache of terrorist neighbours. Two states isn't and wasn't EVER an option in the eyes of Palestinians. But the jews DO need a state. They're prosecuted all over the world, and without a country to defend them, things like the Holocaust happen. The situation got to this degree because of both parties involved. Palestinians who are head against the wall only wanting death, and Israel who focuses solely on defending themselves, with little regard on how civillians on the other side are living. Of course that with conditions as bad as those terrorists will spawn, but that's not on Israel to blame - that's on the palestinian leadership. Israel faulted with not trying to give Palestinians proper leadership that'll advance them out of poverty and terror. And I failed to understand your native Americans comparison. The natives are Palestinians, so yeah Israel grabs a gun and fight back. It's their home for 80 years, of course they'll fight for it. It's common sense. They're not invaders from outside, every Israeli fighting now was born there.

And you really think palestinians have no hand in any of that? Jews were persecuted and exiled from all over the world, left their home after it became too hostile for a better future. Palestinians chose to stay in an explosive situation, waging wars and losing them. When your neighbour is stronger and doesn't want you - leave. Every nation in the world knows this except for the palestinians.

So many empty hateful comments here miss the fact that 70 years ago was 70 years ago, and since then a whole new generation of people are living in the region. Israelies who don't feel obligated to have Israel but don't want anti-Semitism abroad, and palestinians who don't mind staying where they were born, inside the 48 borders, but want a decent live inside of it. No leader from any place on earth is working towards them. Israeli leaders want the whole country for themselves, and Palestinian leaders also want the whole land for themselves. Neither is plausible without serious loss of life. So stop being so one-sided and actually acknowledge there are two sides to this conflict, and that all parties are reaponsible. Israel would give anything in the world to have peaceful rulers in Gaza.

What is Israel supposed to do? They got proof that Palestinians will never live with them in peace. In fact, they got that proof for centuries, but only now it's plain as day. Is Israel supposed to lose this war? Are they seriously the only country in this world which isn't allowed to defend itself? They owe nothing to Palestinians. They owe everything to the kidnapped who are still to this second held captive under savages who rape women and parade distorted bodies.

Of course they extend the evacuation order. They know it isn't feasible for a million ppl to evacuate in 24 hours. They're not savages like Hamas, and fear for innocent loss of life. They do give unreasonable orders so people will act quickly, because boy oh boy are they about to attack.

When Israel were under attack, the entire country joined together and helped people evacuate from their destroyed homes. Also the military and security forces. Not saying it's easy, but it certainly is doable if Gaza was a functioning society. Sadly, it's not.

Fuck the terrorist organization Hamas, slaughtering innocent people in their homes. Also fuck the terrorist organization Hamas for not lifting a single finger to care for their population who elected them in democratic elections. Fuck them for not only not defending them - but actively put them in danger, starting a conflict with Israel then hiding in civillian homes and preventing those citizens from fleeing a war zone.

Who cares if they have a state or not? Did you magically forget 6 millions innocent jews vanishing in ww2? Who would protect the jewish race (yes it's a race, according to everyone in the world sadly) besides themselves? They 100% should have a country, and they 100% shouldn't have gotten the land of israel. But who gave them it? The world. The UN vote. So blaming them is not really fair. Ever since getting it from the UN, they did nothing but keep it safe, because again, who would defend their race but themselves.

Dude have you seen what Hamas did yesterday? Kidnapping children, women, elders. Even burnt houses to get families out of their homes to kidnap them. No matter how sympathetic you are towards palestinians, no one with a right conscious can support them.
