I'm interested to know if there's any kind of religious education in the French school system?

In the UK I was in a CofE school (Christian) but our Religious Education classes taught about all religions pretty equally.

So surely forcing them to take it off while at school is exacerbating that problem. They either comply with the state and be seen as a sinner by their religion, or stick to their religious belief (forced or not) and are at odds with the state.

The real question is: would they stop a kid from wearing a necklace with a cross, for example?

I don't think that makes it any better somehow.

I see a lot of comparisons to steam deck but none to Xbox.

You can literally use any phone or tablet for the same function as this with an Xbox, in addition to cloud streaming most game pass games without needing an Xbox at all.

If we saw Microsoft releasing an identical device I bet there wouldn't be a single person defending it.

True enough, but it was just an example. More likely something like mashed potato will have milk or other dairy. Even vegetarian nutriloaf might not qualify as vegan.

Point is not everything that starts out vegan ends up vegan on the plate.

In these comments, People who:

• think vegetarian is close enough to vegan.
• don't realise vegan items are no longer vegan if they're for example, cooked in butter.
• want prisoners to rot in jail from the inside out, literally.

It's a weird headline seeing as in the actual interview they offer their speculation which seems like they have a pretty good idea.

Firstly, I'm not the one who was arguing anything, so it's weird to quote at me. Just like you are not the person I was querying because I was interested in what they think is bullshit in the above post.

For the record though, I find your assertion to be a very arbitrary distinction. I don't see what it changes having them there aside from a chance for a Game of Thrones style "Shame" walk. And I don't see where the line would be where you lose the same human rights as everyone else.

I initially read it as fisting and it really changes the whole tone of the joke.

The whole boiling alive thing always put me off. Torturing a creature to death for a morsel of food never seemed quite right to me.

It would be nice to see screenshots of the actual environments side by side (for those of us who haven't played and/or too lazy to google each one individually).
