Yeah, this is the corrupt authoritarian shithole tactic: everyone in power has done some crime that they can get persecuted for, that's how they get access, so long as the dictator has leverage over you and when convenient, they use the justice system to "activate" the charges.

I disagree, if you campaign politically that people should be deported because of race, gender, class or political opinions, it would be inconsistent not to deport you.

PS: what is really funny here is that elon bought the presidency for these guys out of fear of going to jail for his crimes under rule of law. So he tried to overturn rule of law...he was the one saying a few weeks ago that judges should not be able to hinder executive power and suspend habeas corpus...now the lawlessness he championed risks eating him alive. If that is not justice, I don't know what is.
