  • Probably. If I could get a job with the same standard of living, the moving costs were paid (do not overlook this, it's insane), the paperwork was trivial or non existant, sure. Bonus perks would be language classes and walkability/bikeability.

It depends on what "socialism" entails, but US capitalism has failed me and mine, has caused so much suffering in my friends and family.

  • We’ll you’re pointing out how ridiculous it is to believe in a free market.

    Yep! That was my point.

What ought we subsidize though? Obviously foods that are better for our environment, climate, health, economy and for animal welfare.

Yeah, if we must subsidize something, then sure, those sound good.

  • This is too narrow. Why do we subsidize food at all? America is supposed to be free market capitalists, right? Subsidies don't fit that definition?

(in reality, farmers need some sort of support system, I believe, as do we all, but subsidies don't fit the free market capitalism narrative.)

  • Storm light could work, but I think it's more about the politics than the power sets. Idk maybe it's gets more fantastic. I'm only on book 2.

Mist born would also be a great universe and the powers are really adaptable into a game, IMO.

  • Major studios pander to current sentiment but don't seek to resolve the issues.

Lol, seek to resolve issues? They're not the government. They're art. Art critiques things and suggests people to change things. It came write laws.

Yet Cyberpunk 2077 with partner with Amazon Prime gaming and let the man leading Neurolink voice a character in their game.

The devs and writers don't make the business decisions. Wish they did, they'd have a better product, imo. The marketing is done by someone else who the devs, usually, have no control over.

  • The X-Files: I Want to Believe

I fucking hated this film. The Mulder and Scully parts didn't feel like "oh, they finally got together". They felt like slash fanfic. "we had a kid off screen and it died, feel sad for us. Oh, also, we finally fucked." Stupid, stupid.

Edit - kid was given up for adoption, not died.
