  • Zoloft Lexapro aka escitalopram. I thought everyone had the anxiety voices like I did. I told myself I was just a worrier. Then it got REALLY bad in my 30's and even I thought it was getting absurd. My doc asked me "how are you feeling" and I just broke down, spilled my guts. He said "let's try a small dose." and after a couple months adjustment, the crazy voices went from 4/5 to a 1/5. They're still there, but they're WAY more quiet. I had no idea that this is what normal people think like.

  • I mean, can’t you just use an old blender to grind pieces down far enough for the pellet extruder?

Whenever you do anything at an industrial level, you want things to be just right and repeatable. Too large of a shred and parts won't fit thru the openings in the extruder. Too small and they might get into places they're not supposed to. I'm sure there are other failure mechanisms I don't even know. Regardles, you want the particles in the right size range for the extruder.

The spooler? I'm not sure about that one. That doesn't make sense to me. The Recreator (http://recreator3d.com/) project makes the entire slice/heater/spooler out of an Ender 3 and some printed parts. Depends on what you're spooling. It's probably more expensive than the Recreator, but I'm still intrigued. The filastruder setup that CNC kitchen demonstrated had a laser sensor with integrated feedback loop, so I guess it's more. https://youtu.be/vqWwUx8l_Io?si=cyNdJD10U1tUrrTt

  • I'd call that oozing more than stringing, but they're nearly the same issue. It's leaking out after retracting, still some in the hot zone. I'm struggling with it too. The best mitigation I've found is to lower temperature.

  • Enough so that Target is pulling out of San Francisco, IIRC

ehhhhhhhhhhhhh. They're blaming theft, but that's not it. Theft might be a part of it, but the stats nearby contradict that. We don't have access to their internal theft metrics, but the city data doesn't pan out. When there are stores (mission district) that have higher theft and are staying open, then is it really theft?

Or is it poor retail performance since WFH is the new king and people live in the suburbs more than in the city. When continue to order online more and more instead of shop at a physical store.

Theft is an easy way to blame other people without providing evidence. It's not the CEO's failure to adapt to changing market conditions, it's the poors! It's their fault! /s

  • Was an actual question

Oh, the word choice implied condescension. It's hard to read tone on the internet, so I try to be overly obvious about genuine questions. "In case you've not seen it, there's a remaster on steam." or something like that.

  • uh. Are you kidding?

Well, that seems kinda rude. Why am I supposed to know this? I don't know every game that exists.

Here's a tip, on average, 10,000 ppl a day learn something that "everybody knows". https://xkcd.com/1053/

  • Master of Magic. Mid 90s spinoff of civilization, but with high fantasy magic and stuff. The spiritual success I've tried have all been garbage. It would be nice to have one with modern conveniences and modding capability.
