It definitely can. If yours can't then it's likely just the thermostat wired wrong.

You think you are being a smartass but that's exactly what heat pumps do. The only functionality difference between an AC unit and a heat pump is a reversing valve.

But without a reversing valve you could put your AC unit in backwards and heat your house in the winter.

The whole premise of an AC unit is to take the heat from inside the house and put it outside, leaving you with cooler air inside.

So in the winter a heat pump simply reverses the flow of the freon and moves the heat from outside to inside. Yes. You are "cooling the whole neighborhood" when you run a heat pump.

Can confirm that the majority of campers and RVs definitely do not use either CH751 or EK333 keys.

For real though, the trick is to put it down, then take a few steps away, then look at it for a few seconds, then say where it is out loud (if possible, if you are at work or something you may seem crazy).

They did in the 90s too. Even in the 80s and 70s locking steering columns were a thing. I never understood the steering wheel locks.

Like, if you ask her, would she say she preferred doing that over normal 16 yr old things like studying, hanging with friends, or doing sports?

My guess is that it would be a bittersweet or poor memory for her, and that given the choice she would have preferred to not have to work at a bar at 16.

Note: IM NOT SAYING she shouldn't have had a job if she wanted one. Having a job as a teen teaches you a lot of things and prepares you for a "real job" in a low risk environment.

Myself, I worked at a pool first teaching lessons, then becoming a lifeguard when I was old enough. I was on the swim team so I was already there for 2-3 hours per day during the week, and hung around most of the day all summer anyway, so getting paid to do stuff I was already comfortable doing was not a stretch.

I gained valuable skills, I know CPR, Rescue breathing, first aid skills, how to deal with neck/back injuries, etc. I also had fun working in an environment where I could have friends and peers all going thru the same life experiences.

I am just concerned that this kind of environment doesn't exist in a bar in Wisconsin.

The thing that drives me bonkers is that ounces is both a volume and mass measurement, and they aren't the same for water.

Ummm... It's 2/3 cup, and that is a standard measurement. But maybe that wasn't the best example. Let's say 2/3 of 1/4 cup. Well that's 2/12 or 1/6 cup which is far from common. However a cup is 48 tsp, so 1/6 cup is 8 tsp.

I mean it's dumb as hell but it does work.

The Metric system is easier though.
