  • A Killer Klowns from Outer Space game was released somewhat recently. I sort of wanted to give it a try but I suck at that general style of game. The movie is absolutely terrible, but definitely one of those "so good it's bad" type cult movies that I adore. Probably helps that I watched it dozens of times as a kid, so there's a bit of nostalgia factor going on there.

  • You can teach his kid(s) how to catch a fish in return. And then he can teach your kid(s) how to start a fire. And then you can teach his kids a valuable lesson on how the legal system works.

  • I have a small number of games in my collection that I know for a fact that I have not played them at all. To be fair, 2 of the games are demos, the other is free-to-play IIRC but that's completely irrelevant.

My actual point is, none of the games in my Steam library that I for sure have never played show "PLAY TIME 0 minutes" nor "LAST PLAYED Never."

Is this an old UI thing, is that a made up playtime summary, or is the UI different on different platforms?

  • I did not read the article. Nobody does anyway, right? So I figure I'd mention that Nepenthes is a pretty famous genus of carnivorous plant, they are the tropical vining pitcher plants. The more you know. Unless you didn't read this and weren't already aware.

  • A lot of people are saying that the US government banned TikTok, but from what I'm understanding, that's not really what happened and what's happening. Or have I misinterpreted things? From what I understand, they were told they had to divest and sell, but they fought that and now are opting to shutdown rather than comply. Is that not the case?

Either way, I'm gonna go all "I walked to school uphill both ways barefoot in a meter of snow" on this and say that my very little experience with TikTok users seems to suggest that its not much more than pure, unadulterated brain rot. So regardless of the fact(s) (i.e. shutdown / banned / etc), there's maybe the tiniest sliver of a net positive here. Or not. It doesn't affect me one way or the other and given where this country is politically (as well as where it is headed), I don't give a rat poopoo.

  • Neck tie, but I'd love to see it comically long or at least more proportional and realistically sized. Right now it just doesn't take up enough space, in my opinion.

That being said, if we're "stuck" with these two options exactly as they are, the bow tie works better because it's a more fitting size and better proportions. For me, it makes the design a little unbalanced with too much going on above the neck, too little going on below. Coincidentally, if you made it comically small, that might actually work out better, but I'd have to see it before I could be certain. However, that's a fairly minor drawback.

  • The body builder with claws and a skull for a face is the character, Skeletor from He-Man for those of you not aware. Or maybe you recognize him from She-Ra? Was Skeletor in She-Ra? I don't know I never watched that show.

  • Truth is, we cannot be certain Mark Zuckerberg fucked an ostrich. The only thing we can be certain of is that his mother very clearly fucked an ostrich and/or was herself an ostrich.

  • But like so many things, I feel like this feature has gotten worse over the years. Seemed to be fairly accurate for some time, but it honestly wouldn't surprise me if they've made it shittier with "AI". Now I get more false positives than anything, and the one time recently I did actually forget to attach a file, the message didn't even show up ... I guess because I said "I've included the latest copy" rather than "I've attached the latest copy"?

  • Have you tried the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate game? I have not played it much at this point, but what little I piddled with it seemed enjoyable. For what it's worth, I've played Hades and Cult of the Lamb and really enjoyed them both. I have not played Slay the Spire, though.
