I'm sorry to say this, but... shut the front door, there's a genre of music like Morphine and I wasn't informed until now?! Thank you for this knowledge, I'll be checking both bands out tomorrow! :)

Does making game code count? I like making game things and binning them before they resemble something playable! :)

Besides that... I mostly... no that's it, I rarely play things, unless that time every 6 months that I get really into a top-down RPG. For a weekend, my main use is exploring a colorado wasteland or a small town, but it's followed by me starting to make a game aaaand giving up again... but it's fun! :)

I really should make music, I sometimes feel the spark went and it's sad. :(

I will be sad when my S10 dies, purely for finding a headphone jack. It might sound dumb, but I only see drawbacks to bluetooth audio, as it's not solving any problem I had to begin with. :)

This was funnily what got me considering binning my account, (then Cambridge Analytica being in the news made it a thing I went through with).

I discovered that filtering out sponsored, friends-of-friends, shared posts, and sorting by most recent, there were 3 posts maximum each day written by someone I know! :) It made me realise how manipulative the site was, how frequently I "checked the fridge", and how little I might actually miss. :)

Not the aims of fbpurity, but damn I'm happier since binning facebook :)

Ooh another opportunity to yell from the rooftops how great "Nobody Loves You More" by Kim Deal is! :) Honestly a fully fantastic album that I love. :)

That sounds brilliant! In case you don't get your chance to boogie through a game, your idea reminded me of Party Pal in Wasteland 3 - a bringer of joy to my many battles!

I loved this game! It's great to hear someone else's feeling on it, you're totally right about the interface, but it was easy to forgive its limitations because of how engaged I was. :) I loved the feeling of frantic problem solving as you connect the dots near the end on things.

Always Sometimes Monsters gets my vote! It was a good story and I felt like it was a great use of a weekend. Might not be everyone's cup of tea (text-based, no combat), but I loved it!

I have been waiting for the AEW Wrestling game Fight Forever to be cheap, and am having a lovely time! It's very fun to play, and has an okay roster (i got DLC with it).

I wouldn't be thrilled with buying on release at £50 and then £80 on DLC, but under 20 for the lot seemed okay :) definitely not perfect, but a fun game with some cool details. :)

Also the keyboard! I have never used one I liked more until thumbkey came along :) The windows keyboard was so good for swipe typing, it makes me wonder how they now own swift key and it isn't as good!

When I had to go to Android (phone battery on the Lumia 950xl started swelling), I used things to replicate Windows Phone as it was so fun to use. :)

Awesome! I'm really glad! :) there's nothing like rocking an album on the day it comes out! I'm dropping lead weighted hints that I need it for christmas, that and being broke are the sole reasons it's not on order already 😂

That's so interesting! As a kid I remember not liking much music until I found some individual songs that I loved, then I couldn't get enough and albums were my thing!

I'm a bit of both on albums - some I have on end to end no matter what (R.E.M especially), but then there's some bands I'm like you and wander off halfway through! :)

Trying to think of bands that genre-hop and might be fun for you end-to-end on one disc

For me I'm utterly loving the new Kim Deal* album "Nobody Loves You More" - it came out today, and oh yes it's good!

It's unexpected with style, almost 60s with brass and strings at times, then there's other songs that sound modern... and beyond making my ears happy, it's great songwriting :)

Ughh my RDP into work is the only reason I have a minimal windows install :/

I love mint, but I can't get work's IT support people to go near it (needs the preshared key and some settings to get their Sharepoint VPN working). It grates having to boot into windows!

Really hope more people at work ask for Linux support and I don't need 11, but not holding my breath. :)
