  • I "broke" linux mint just by trying to pop KDE on, had to timeshift because it messed up my keyboard layout and a whole bunch of other things with my display.

I don't know how people do these crazy changes without pain, and have a feeling the answer is simply "there's pain" 😂

  • Thank you so much for this! I never ever see anyone share open-source setups like this for non-hobby work, and it's inspiring. :)

    (Ramble incoming)

I noticed since jumping from windows I'm missing Ableton, and it's been a mental block of knowing that I'll need to choose a new way to do things. It's daft as I loved ardour and LMMS back in 2014, and I'm sure they're even better now :) I totally need to dedicate some time to music, it's been a neglected piece of my soul for a bit too long. :)

Edit: also, Plug Data looks brilliant! I loved MaxMSP, and it got me into game making/coding. :)

  • Well... in truth, I need to get tested - I'm definitely a no-go on almond and hazelnut (i have the hospital trips to prove it!), but peanuts are just a precaution at this stage -it's easier to avoid the lot if you see what I mean. :)

  • I agree!! Crunchy uncooked spaghetti or lasagne sheet is a forbidden treat! I do rather enjoy it despite it being "horrifying"

My other nomination is Cheese and Jam sandwiches (jelly for americans) - a little savoury squish with my sweet is just lovely!

  • I can recommend the burger recipe that uses cream crackers! :) Nothing more insightful to contribute besides that though as I've not tried other recipes

(usually the BBC have a version with "less fancy ingredients", by which I mean "doesn't assume I have my life together and can afford to have fresh vegetables on hand in my fridge" - this is probably a me problem lol)
