  • Being an atheist is also unfalsifiable. Disbelief in any one God is not unscientific, but disbelief in the possibility of God is, objectively.

I have confused atheism and anti-theism.

  • Also, if anybody funds themselves in this situation, hydrate or die-drate. Really bad diarrhea is very, very, very dehydrating (just think about how much water is in the liquid sludge coming out of your ass)

  • Atheism is just as illogical as theism. You can apply Occam's razor to assume that there is no god/gods, but that is still just that, an assumption. Agnosticism would be the logically/scientifically backed argument.

  • This is his most unpopular position? Maybe to far leftists, but the article you linked relating to 2024 numbers says this:

Twice as many adults under 30 as those 65 and older think the US must stop supporting Israel’s war in Gaza (23% vs. 11%).

Twice as many adults 65 and older as those under 30 think the US must support Israel’s war unconditionally (26% vs. 13%).

Now I'm not saying that 23% of the population is insignificant, but that's not 23% of the overall population, but only the sub 30 population, the population most likely to support Gaza over Israel in the first place. Based on the data, the overwhelming majority of people (77-89% depending on demographic) don't give a shit if Biden supports Israel, and a good portion of those thinks that not only should Biden support Israel, but he should so so unconditionally.

Now I'm not making an statements about who's right or wrong insofar as policy is concerned with the Israeli genocide, but what I'm saying is that the vast majority of people outside of your echo chamber (sadly) do not give a shit, even if they should.

  • Nettle tea is also really good for swelling and chronic pain, at least according to my grandfather and his friends that have used it. My grandpa did go to medical school so I tend to trust him, but it was also in the 60s and he calls tattooing and piercings "psychosomatic self flagellation" so take it for what you will.

  • Btw if anybody is still in school, this is still a great study method. I make cheat sheets for my exams and the challenge of streamlining the important information from a semester to a single page is the best study method I've found, because not only do you have to devise what is and isn't important, but by handwriting it you remember even more. The best part is, it doesn't take a ton of time to study this way, especially compared to rereading the text or going over notes.

  • That'd be true for the vast majority of figures from that time. Also I'd like to see evidence for your implied claim that apparently the Romans kept vast swathes of paperwork concerning executions and that the vast majority of it was preserved until this day.
