Might be a good idea to torrent whatever you need before the corpos manage to get some law passed that makes it so that isps will have to terminate users for that.

I don't think Lemmy users hate Firefox. I feel like alot of it is either people who legitimately have whatever needs they have, fulfilled by chrome more than firefox, or....it's fucking astroturfers/fanboys.

This is not exactly the case. "It can be used for combat" does not necessarily mean "it's the best/ideal/ready for combat". I would stress readily that if you are in the west, Judo and or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu are good for grappling arts. For striking arts Muay Thai is great! Some alternatives are sanda or dutch kickboxing. Though I'm not too sure on availability of Sanda schools in the west. If you really want to go the Chinese martial arts route, Choy Li Fut is a good style, and has supposedly gone toe to toe with Muay Thai on a few occasions.

You already can I think? Ollama is something you can install, and then you can set up a webui like sillytavern for roleplays, or some other more fitting ui for whatever you want. Also, Linux is great for projects like these, on windows it's fucking a pain to set up, Linux it's easy.
