  • Obviously nonsense. Israel hasn't already pushed Palestinians out of 90% of their own land. That last 10% tho, totally safe. No reason to think they'll keep pushing them out of their homes, especially when their companies are "joking" about doing it.

    Keep defending apartheid tho, you're doing great

  • I agree (and I think the article agrees in part too) with much of what you're saying. But the issue with your comment is this;

    If you did your own research and listen to experts like Adam Taggart or Wealthion

    You're assuming doing your own research will lead to the correct and educated experts (Adam Taggart or Wealthion in this example). The study this article is based on really is just saying "do your own research" is leaving it up to your search engine. And everyone uses Google. Google isn't designed to show you research, it's designed to show you what you want to know.

  • Biden is supporting Israel's war against Hamas genocide against Palestinians and using that support to direct Israeli policy ask Israel nicely to stop doing the bad things without any consequences if they don't moving forward. How is this not an absolute win failure to be a decisive, moral leader?

  • I also use it daily. I bought a cheap aux to bt adapter for my car so I could wirelessly play music but it's not as good as just plugging it in directly. And it's an extra dongle thing to worry about.

    I really just wanted to do Bluetooth because it's slightly more convenient, and when I'm charging my phone while it's plugged into aux there's a bit of a whine over my music. But having the option to do aux when I want is important to me personally

  • ASCII (wiki) is the older way of doing character encoding for computers.

    Isekai (also wiki) is a sub genre of anime that involves getting teleported from a normal world to a fantasy/sci-fi setting. Getting hit by a vehicle in an Isekai anime has become a meme as the means of being teleported.

    The 1985 in Seattle... Idk what's referencing specifically.

    Edit: I should have included IBM in my googling haha Looks like IBM in Seattle in 1985 (IBM website) was really hitting its stride

  • Well if we're talking day to day life, when I ask someone what day it is, they're not going to say "It's December 12th 2023". They're just gonna say "The 12th" because it's true the month doesn't really matter day to day.

    I think the only time people use the full date is on like official forms where the month is more relevant. Also this is America, we don't care about average people's day to day, just businesses and money and cheeseburgers
