Florida Cop Headed to Prison for 3D Printing Fake Drugs and Switching Them With Real Ones

  • You go live under a blockade if it's such a propaganda title

  • there are 40* people who could receive the commutation, I don't think it's outlandish to suggest these people should also not be killed, if you believe in the death penalty fine, but Joe Biden is apparently a devout Catholic who at some point didn't believe in it so what's stopping him from commuting all the sentences

    https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/joe-bidens-big-reversal-on-the-death-penalty.html

    https://archive.ph/nMadH

As a presidential candidate in 2020, Biden promised he’d be different. His official platform provided unequivocally, “Democrats continue to support abolishing the death penalty.” The Biden-Harris 2020 campaign website promised, “Biden will work to pass legislation to eliminate the death penalty at the federal level, and incentivize states to follow the federal government’s example.” The position was bold, clear, and absolute.

  • They are definitely not inherently good or bad it depends on the place, but if there is 1 child born per woman in the country, that means the country given enough time will pretty rapidly shrink, unless they change something about people not wanting to have kids or allow immigration

  • There are far more in times of active conflict like now, including rockets from places like Iran and Yemen, people especially those with resources don't want to hear sirens in their cosmipolitan city, they don't want to go hide in a bomb shelter in their basement even if it's unlikely they won't get hit

  • If I were to guess the primary concern of those leaving it would probably be to go some place that doesn't regularly have rockets fired at it

The question came up last year when Republicans floated the idea of pushing Trump into the role after Kevin McCarthy was voted out. Just as was the case with Trump, Musk could become speaker because you don't actually need to be a House member to hold the position.

The U.S. Constitution's only requirement for the speaker of the House is that the person is chosen by the House of Representatives. Thus, Musk could serve as the House speaker if he got the support and votes to do so.

  • it is not bad journalism though, there is a big difference between trying to increase your clickthrough and bad journalism, it doesn't change the meaning of the title when you say slam vs saying criticize, putting more exciting words in the titles you could maybe make an analogy to all the YouTubers who started making Mr Beast face in the thumbnail, the video or in this case the article is the same, they are just trying to get a higher click through rate and I really can't blame them, they are not making money hand over fist doing this

  • Definitely a wait and see for the motive, could very easily be an interpersonal thing vs a killing the bosses thing

  • it is irresistible to the redditor mind to complain about the word slam in a title of an article

  • it is interesting it is TASS reporting this though, you would think they wouldn't bother writing about this unless it was in the Russian state's interest to do so

  • can't say I'm a huge fan of Nick Cruse or the rest of RBN, but a graph's a graph I guess

  • they are thinking you can arrest anyone for any amount of time for opposing the state of Israel and recieve almost no pushback for doing so and they are largely right

  • nvm they are transcribed in this article

    https://www.campustimes.org/2024/11/13/wanted-posters-accusing-university-affiliates-displayed-throughout-campus/

    and from this article

Following administration’s response, the University’s chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) released a counterstatement addressing widespread claims of the posters’ antisemitic intentions.

“Antisemitism is bigotry or hatred against Jewish people on the basis of their identity and we unequivocally oppose it,” the JVP statement read. “It is not, however, antisemitic to criticize the Israeli government and military that is committing war crimes.”
