  • Make it less reliant on Chromium. There's no good reason my library page should use nearly 1gb ram when it had nearly 0 footprint before moving it to Chromium.

And if they roll another chromium-based memory leak into the release? Fuck sake. I spent months only able to run Steam with Chromium disabled, something that's no longer an option.

  • Wow, imagine actually believing and applying this to... Well, anything, really.

"Hey, I found a big in this software that causes a crash."

Banned: Unconstructive, didn't provide a solution

  • Yo, new Thalasin dropped!

  • I mean, it pretty much is. They're both transmissible spongiform encephalopathy, one just emerged in cows.

  • So, to sum up this article, the credits for the porting team don't directly credit the original game staff... but the original game credits are untouched.

    Nice, gotta love blatant sensationalism.

  • As someone who has been waiting on this more intensely than anything else now...

Current status: screaming and crying and shitting my pants

  • Oh, man, that's exactly what I've been wanting. Already switched!

  • Idk, but I know the last time I saw it happen was just under two months ago, with Apex Legends. IIRC, they never reversed those, either.

  • It's a thin, persistent bar on the left side of the page with tools and shortcuts. By default, it's where you find bookmarks, history, downloads and things like that, but you can also add custom websites to it as well. They pop out either over or alongside the main window (depending on whether the pin button is pressed), and they display the mobile webpage when available, to be more usable in such a small window. It's how I use Discord and Mastodon.

  • Except it's still hell for online games with anti-cheat. Just about every other month, another article comes out about "Linux players unable to launch..." or "Linux players banned from..."

Edit: "They hated him because he spoke the truth."

  • Afaik, the only thing 7Zip lacks in comparison to WinRAR is the ability to create rar files, and that's only because the format is proprietary.

  • Vivaldi is what I use, and it's absolutely the best Chromium browser I've ever tried.

That said, I'd switch to Firefox in a heartbeat if it could duplicate that sidebar. I use that thing all the time, and it's the only thing keeping me on Chromium.

  • I had a similar problem with my ISP's CGNAT, and Zero-Tier One is what got around it for me.

  • Boost spoiler formatting seems to be broken. Oof.

  • Hey, anyone remember when Twitter got sued for enabling impersonation like this? Man, can't wait for the sequel!

  • They've really picked up with that shit lately, so I give this a month.

  • And I will reiterate my point: The outrage still doesn't make sense to anyone with any understanding of the facts. If the image is AI generated, it was still purchased most-likely unknowingly from a service that is not supposed to host such content at all.
