  • This isn't full circle unless call of duty had jump packs and lasers in its first iteration, which I haven't played but considering the setting, probably not. At most this is a circle with an almost twenty year line coming off it that's completely devoid of jetpacks.

  • I'm on your side here. But I don't look at any ads. If you interrupt what I'm watching with an ad, I stop watching/reading and do something else. If anything an ad will make me less likely to use or otherwise engage with your product. If it's unskippable that effect is inevitable.

The only exception is something I'm already interested in, in which case you've wasted your money advertising to someone redundantly AND my time because I don't want to see your shitty adverts, which risks me losing interest.

Adverts used to work. Now they're so constant and endless that they have the opposite effect for me. I stopped using YouTube a few months ago because of the ads. Can I remember literally a single product that was ever advertised to me on YouTube? No, because their ads can go fuck themselves.

  • I can't upgrade to Windows 11 (not that I'd want to considering all their enshittification), so they're leaving me with an unsecured OS. I survive on £160 a month so, no, I won't be paying for fucking security updates, instead I'll be switching to Linux and literally never considering using Windows again.

  • Yes. THEY realised these improvements were needed, made them, and then the same THEY released a sequel without those improvements. What are you defending here, failing to learn from mistakes? Inability to get better at their craft? They shouldn't need to go through another ten years of updates to get a decent game, especially when it's the third in the series.

  • This argument is nonsense. The same Dev that did all that work to improve Payday 2 then released the shit Payday 3. Maybe if they'd never made a similar game before there might be an acceptable explanation, but that's the exact opposite of what happened with payday 3.

  • Don't get me wrong I'm sure it'll find a small market, it just could've had a bigger one with comparatively little effort and now the device it could've been will never exist. I had hopes for this as I'd expected it to stream from Now, but it just doesn't for no reason beyond "CBA" really.
