Yeah lemmy.ml has gotten worse with tankies, but it's no where near as bad as the others. And I still want to see some lemmy.ml communities (tech, gaming).
But unless it's changed with some of the recent updates, blocking instances as a user (on lemmy) only blocks posts from the instance but still allows interaction with their users in comments of posts. It's different for kbin and mastodon.
I don't want the annoyance of arguing with tankies from their main instances. I'd rather be defederated.
Also, why go back to lemm.ee and do that when I don't need to on feddit.de? That seems kind of silly in the first place.
I'm happy on feddit.de, as they are really only defederated from the tankies and Threads.
I left L.W when they federated with Threads and tried lemm.ee, but dealing with the tankies is so annoying I had to find another new home and settled for feddit.de.
I really don't lie. Unless it's for safety or a white lie not to hurt someone's feelings, I don't feel the need to stoop to lying.
I accept my faults and I'll admit wrongdoing before I lie. I'm not concerned with what other people think of me, so I speak my truth even if it will drive others away from me. If that happens, they aren't the kind of people I want to associate with anyway.
I value honesty, authenticity, and empathy and hold myself strictly to the standards I've set in my mind and personal philosophy.
I don't lie or say anything on the internet that I wouldn't say in real life. I can't personally comprehend the point or drive to lie on the internet. I'd rather focus effort on self-actualization rather than make-believe.
He hasn't fought a single pro boxer in his weight class.
He's fought outside his weight class and he's boxed fighters who were not boxers.
He has not had a single honest professional boxing match.
His fight with Mike Tyson is the going to be the closest he's come, but it's still absolutely ridiculous given the 30 year age gap and the fact that Mike Tyson has been retired.
Jake piece of shit Paul has definitely trained hard and has a proficiency in boxing, but he hasn't come close to putting that to the test fighting active pros in his weight class.
There's always a choice. Our politicians are just too invested in Isreal's military as a middle-eastern ally.
But Isreal has really demonstrated how self-serving and nationalist they are, and I don't think they can be relied upon in a call to action as an ally.
I wish our leaders would show more of a backbone against Isreal, and withdraw all support for them.
One thing that I have drawn strength from repeatedly in hard times was drilled into me by a great professor in undergrad (psychology):
You cannot experience personal growth without struggling; without hardship.
Think of the people who are sheltered from the real-world and then get a full dose of it and are unable to cope and preserve like others who had to grow up early.
I remind myself amidst struggles that I will be coming out on the other side a stronger and more capable person. It helps me to accept the shit on my plate and refuse to give up.
Yeah it has certainly escalated to an extreme pro-china/russia perspective there, where I've seen them simultaneously claim that the US is entirely responsible for Isreal's genocide and deny the genocide and ethnic cleansing committed by China.
What an utterly stupid statement... She's refusing to contribute to committing genocide, but that's not enough for you. You think she should kill herself too...
If everyone refused to contribute to the genocide, then there wouldn't be one either. There's no reason young people resisting conscription should be making futile self-sacrifices. She's already sacrificing her freedom in refusing to participate in a genocide, and spreading awareness and dissidence.
