The starlink thing died yesterday but, I can't imagine a reaction this strong from the US financial sector or MAGA.

I disagree with the intensity of this response, if it were to happen.

I'm failing to see the connection with Brazil here.

What would the backlash be from the US financial sector?

Why would MAGA be mad about the US Government extraditing an African American?

Remember that time Musk expressed that he was in favor of free speech? Then he censored content on his platform for the Turkish government?

Why would the US strain their relationship with Brazil over Musk? Politically, it makes sense to extradite him.

Also imma need a citation on how extradition works, I searched the wiki and couldn't find anything.

They said its not but, I think the argument they were trying to make was that it's not enforceable.

Totally unrelated thought but, I'll never forget, I was browsing YouTube and some streamer was analyzing Tate's discussion with someone.

The streamer said something like "Tate exhibits signs of being an Epistemic Nihilist" I've never been able to forget that.

Sounds good to me. I like the idea of making corporations do what we want. I have very little concern for the freedoms of businesses.

I imagine it would work much the same way taxing any service industry would.

I wont pretend to understand how the sp500 calculates its value. I personally think the stock market is all smoke, mirrors & vibes. Tech still needs patents and copyrights, a likely vector of attack for a willing government I imagine.

I saw a video about this. I think the next step would be heavier taxes on the corporations that do this kind of stuff.
