  • It's my personal belief that the cultural exchange flying allows is beneficial enough to justify the waste, though I hate private jets.

    Sidenote, did you know some planes get 60mpg? Hobby ones though. I'm ever against gas usage in most cases, and hope they can bring back an alternative

  • Reduction of consumption at this point will not actually work, we're already too far down the path of annihilation.

    According to actual science and not just your opinion, it still could theoretically work.

  • It's necessary. Phones are far worse than prior to phones, and I've seen both sides of it.

    Boring lessons is a fact of life. People need to realize that not all education can be interesting. Sometimes you gotta suck it up, sit down, and learn. And I say this as someone with crippling adhd

  • Gen alpha is significantly worse than prior generations on tech. Them having their phones on them doesn't teach them, they consume on the lowest level. They don't learn the actual Internet skills prior generations had to to survive.

  • no. Education doesn't make a dipshit smart. It can make them better informed. Better able to make good decisions. But it doesn't magically make smart.

    Why are you now suggesting education makes a person intelligent? you weren't before...
