  • Yes, and I couldn't get it to load without going to propublica.org directly. So I linked it directly, to help others. There's still a few flaky things about the fediverse, and since I'd gone to the trouble to find the article, I figured to save others a few clicks.

  • I need a pair of jeans made out of this, or a nice shirt. Maybe work gloves? When will this hit the open market?

  • I'm rolling with Traitor, it's more specific. He's giving aid and comfort to Putin. If Traitor Rand Paul was working for Putin in 2017, per Sen. John McCain's comment above, and shows no evidence of having changed, then he is still a traitor to the USA. And should be indicted for that crime. Let him try to justify his actions in court. He, and numerous other GOP members have been acting against the USA for years now, and deserve to be treated as traitors.

  • Hey, come on. It's just a joke meme. Why're you being so salty?

  • Missed opportunity

  • Ya know, it's funny, I suspect the wounded vets would love to look at themselves in the mirror and see that they in fact hadn't been wounded. But for them it's just not that easy.

  • That's awesome! We need more monitoring. It's the only way we'll know what is actually going on. There's a lot to be said for testing sewage effluent, and not every state can afford that.

  • Increases risk for periodontal disease.

  • FWIW, I wear an N95. It fits well, and I wear it properly. In my office everyone wears a mask. And I make sure they (patients and staff) wear it correctly. Imagine, knowing the way to significantly reduce the chance of getting any respiratory infection, to the point where one might never have that again. Colds, influenza, RSV, Covid, etc could all be so minimal. But then not using that knowledge (masking, hand washing, distancing and isolation if one is sick), and getting sick. And getting other people sick, too.

A lot of misinformation was spread through the course of the pandemic, which had adverse consequences - increased mortality and morbidity.

  • I don't care where she gets the money, as I'm delighted where the money is going.

  • This is the part I really don't get. How does 'killing your own base', and adding to the healthcare burden with more long covid cases, work in the long or short term? Or at all. I guess they are just thinking till '24, but we've got a long winter season of SARS-CoV-2, RSV, & Influenza before we get to November '24. And your right, people will die, and be disabled in greater numbers if they follow what DeSantis says.

  • So it is. And my iOS is set to remove apps I don't use, by way of saving room for cat pictures. So I never even noticed it's existence. Yay, me.

  • And what's an order a magnitude amongst friends?
Note: I came here to say what you already said. LoL
