What's wrong with a tried and tested open forum? Hell, a lemmy server or even subreddit would suffice.

I mean, don't use walled gardens as your primary community base in the first place right? This is a 'solution' to a problem that doesn't need to exist.

Do it. I don't understand why more people don't join credit unions / mutual banking. There's literally no downsides, they have all the same services, protections, minus the fees. It's a no brainer.
