  • Schools is canceled if it's -20C for 1-6 grade and -25C for higher grades here, I'm assuming that is also a thing in the US. And I have walked to school at -25C before only to walk back because it was closed, I think I was in 3th grade. It's not some deadly arctic weather you make it out to be, just dress properly.

Also all of that is pretty irrelevant since I was saying you should have public transit that people can just use, including kids for getting to school, not that kids have to walk the whole way to school. Not just special busses children use twice a day.

  • It doesn't effect my decision on what to buy or watch. Like I can't buy chocolate or just basic groceries without supporting slavery so if some person is a massive asshole it would just be hypocritical to boycott them and not the million worse things that you are basically required to monetarily support just to survive.

I'd probably be more selective if I was rich but I don't have the time or money to fuss about that.

  • Because they haven't yet targeted a ship supplying Israel. They are raiding ships that are vulnerable and not much else by the look of these attacks, most non-military ships are coming from Saudi Arabia and most are heading to India, not a single one coming or going to Israel.

  • They aren't fighting Israel, they just use the genocide as an excuse to profit with piracy. So far they have attacked 2 Russian oil tankers with no affiliation to Israel and the only connections one other ship had was 1 officer was Israeli. No attempt to blockade Israel has been made so far.

  • Even if he owns that ship and no one else does it's still a random ship, if the houthies were actually trying to blockade Israel this would be very different. So far they have attacked 2 Russian oil tankers with no connection to Israel, that alone is enough to see they arent targeting their attacks in any way and it's just piracy with using the troubles inflicted on the Palestinians as a shield. It's literally genocide profiteering.

  • I'm from Estonia so my healthcare is fine. Mental health waiting times are on the longer side (longest I saw was 6 months) in less populated areas here but private option for that is like 20 euros per session and meds are still free.

Didn't you guys have like a day of waiting time for ambulances at some point? I remember seeing that in the foreign news.

  • If you read your own source that ship wasn't owned by that Israeli guy, it's affiliated with him somehow according to the houthies but I can't find any connection to the guy when looking around online.

The first source just straight up said it wasn't an Israeli ship but a British one but one officer was Israeli.

I'm not sure what fallacies you are talking about but I think Israel should absolutely be sanctioned and pressured however possible to stop their genocide. The houthies are only doing piracy on random ship and doing nothing to stop Israel, just using the distraction to justify piracy.

  • Nah, the brits have it even worse, I don't think even they know what system they use. Like the US just uses the imperial system but brits use like every system randomly plus some stuff that no one else uses, like boulders or some caveman shit like that.

Also brits got like nothing left to make fun of at this point: They fucked their healthcare system bad enough they may as well be in the US, they got 2 viable parties that are even more the same than the US and they left the one thing that kept the country economically relevant to name a few things.

  • So the ships aren't linked to Israel but companies that own the ships have Israeli citizens somewhere in their higher structure? Or are in some nebulous and unspecified way linked to Israeli citizens? Like neither of those sources even tried to claim the ships even did business in Israel.

What's next? Shaking hands with a Israeli will get you attacked by pirates?

  • Morrowind had voice acting for lines like detecting you and greetings when you got close, plus a few lines in story, most notably Dagoth Ur and Vivec.

For the majority of the story there was none while oblivion had like 11 people voice the entire thing and poorly. The voice acting of Oblivion was also accompanied by the way worse writing. I grew up on Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 and later Morrowind and those were only partially voice acted and I definitely liked that as a kid as well, at least more than I did Oblivion.
