I met a lady on the brink of homelessness, she was complaining about cost of living, rent, healthcare, and access to other services. She then proceeded to praise Elon and Trump for exposing the corruption and fighting for normal people and she wishs we had strong politicians like that up here.

People are delusional.

Trump crashing the economy, Trump dying from whatever, Vance taking over and taking credit for any kind of recovery sounds almost like its planned.

The problem is, half of the cons supporters also idolize trump. They look at the state of things down there and think "that's what Canada needs"

I used to set my phone as a private number. I'd have to call customers sometimes to confirm times or discuss jobs, but most customers didn't need access to my direct number and we'd rather them contact the office than contact me directly.

My theory is Trump wants Canada's border more secure so border agents can return anyone fleeing the states and his rule back into his control.

Any protest could be considered blocking parts of the city. Any protest that doesn't inconvenience someone or something is often ineffective.

He wants you focused on the bike lanes so you don't question him pushing along new highways without any environmental assessments.

What logical plan relies on trade with the potential invader to fund our military? A more logical plan would be to source trade agreements with other countries looking to get away from the US market.

They were pretty much ready to execute that smart guy because the water didn't immediately grow massive crops. Had the others got distracted just a few minutes longer before broadcasting the growth live it may have been too late.

Denial is their plan. "We didn't have climate change in the 50s and remember how great that was?"

Part of the problem is traditional suburban zoning tends to be too expensive in the long run for cities to maintain due to lots of infrastructure and low density for taxation. Moving away from prioritizing suburbia and focusing government efforts more on density could spur the changes we need and build more homes from the government investment. It could add more housing while minimizing the additional infrastructure costs the city has to take on to accommodate the housing.
