That's exactly how I ended up with a steam account. Bought a Civ V cd and the game isn't on the cd, just an installer for steam and a key.

Quality and size. On a whim I got a fish fillet from McDonalds the other day. At first I thought they gave me a happy meal fish fillet and then I remembered that they don't have that. It was comically smaller than it used to be.

Well I think neither of the numbers mean much since in my opinion a majority of those games on both systems are just slop. So the numbers of available games is irrelevant to anything to me. It would be like stating or bragging about how many words can be made from the alphabet.

Same here. My Dad has been using Mint for years now, and wouldn't know what to do in the command line. He gets on, does what he needs to do, and it just works for him.

And does it just stick? If so what's the trick? I pop my popcorn, and it must be some crazy salt resistant mutation. I have ground the salt up in a blender, bought the popcorn salt, etc and it's like the popcorn has some defense mechanism.

Very good point. Being stuck in a marriage that's unwanted or abusive can be a prison all it's own. Does he want to add to that? Nothing like someone with a holier than thou attitude believing that his ideas of reality need to be forced onto everyone.
