  • She was dating my ex girlfriend. When the split my ex suggested that she should go out with me.

  • There is a Facebook group that I know he's part of and he's on Twitter. I'll go a month at a time without seeing anything from him and then I get flooded with reactions to these edits. And somehow they're always positive. I dread the day that he actually comments on one of them.

If I were him I would have blocked me even if I liked what was happening because it would taint the way I'm creating the comics because of the observer effect.

  • I hope for his own mental health that he never joins Lemmy. If I had had more time I would have redrawn this entire scene in the style of a Heathcliff comic. But I gave myself only 15 minutes to do this and that would have taken a day and a half. Because I am very slow when drawing on my phone. I may revisit this idea later in the future.

  • Judging from the number of hot air balloons he owns and his ability to afford all the meat and bubble gum that he wants so I have to assume he is independently wealthy.

  • But who repaints them?

  • It's helmet week.. He runs in themes. We just had sculpture week

  • I usually end up getting them from a particular Facebook group where they're published shortly after 4:00 p.m. The day before. There's also a secret website where all comics are published the day before and that's where the Facebook group pulls it from.

  • What's a newspaper?

  • Expecting a joke from a Heathcliff comic is expecting something non-dadaism from a dada work.

  • In an appearance on The Meat Cast, a Heathcliff podcast, NAPG said he just thinks helmets are funny. No further information was offered.

  • Is that "almost always" the result of being a responsible adult, a lack of funds, or just a general desire for any escape from the dystopian nightmare that you live in?

  • The garbage ape is a classic Heathcliff character. He comes in and raises a ruckus with the trash cans. Everyone loves him. He has a huge fan base amongst the characters in Heathcliff and the viewing audience because of his pure absurdity.

As originally intended there is no joke. This is just a feel-good Heathcliff comic for old-time fans. It's pure nostalgia.

There is a sub joke here after the edit in that the blue cat is getting smashed by the trash can for some slapstick humor. That's why the other two cats are doing a thumbs up with one arm, but blue cat has his other arm fully extended from the brutal blow of the trash can. I can't see it but I hope he's wearing a helmet. Because otherwise he's in for some trouble.

  • What are the results of that check?

  • There is no consensus on this at all. It's more likely to have been a town idiot or drunk.

The reason we think of egg now is exclusively due to some pedophile who wrote down an acid trip 80 years before acid was invented and decided it should be a kids book. Because, you know, to a pedophile everything is for kids.
