Since my books are for TTRPGs, selling on DriveThruRPG has been better by far. I've made hundreds of dollars from there and under $10 on Amazon. Amazon tricks authors by allowing them to publish there then pushing those authors to pay to advertise their own books...which I did, but made zero difference. I'm also on Barnes and Noble, but made no money at all there.

However, as an author I've used their services to print copies of my books to put in games stores and that's been very cost effective and made me decent money.

That's not a bad idea. I'll message you with a link. Won't be Amazon, but what I'll send you is there as well. I make zero money from Amazon sales. It's a terrible platform for minor authors.

The 90s followed the extremely high interest rates, which were why housing was flat. People couldn't easily buy in, so demand was reduced.

That is truly a terrible idea, and Amazon should be liable since they do exercise control over what they sell (which I know, because I have two books for sale there).

I'm very much an Android user, but in an enterprise setting Apple products are so much easier to manage. When pushing certificates with profiles from Intune, we had no end of trouble with Android phones but iPhones were incredibly easy.

This is a greater overall danger than many of you seem to realize. Their leader was a face and figurehead, the real power of Wagner mercenaries lies with the lieutenants. Without him, they are likely to splinter and become more brutal. Some are likely to be hired by the anti-Putin oligarchs, while others may align with Putin. This may result in Russia having to pull out of Ukraine, but that's not the end of this. Even if Putin is slammed out of power, that just results in an internal power struggle with deadly consequences. Those will not stay inside their borders.

I find it very stable. The only issues I've had have been in Google Maps, but that's because Google keeps playing fuckaround with anticompetitive practices.

It's worth noting, and not mentioned in most of these articles, that the CEO is saying that Zoom employees that live near offices must return at least 2 days a week.

They have not demanded that all employees return 5 days a week, but other CEOs don't do their own research and just think "we need to! Look at Zoom!".
