  • That's one of the issues I had when on Reddit. The developer used to go AWOL for extended periods of time. Not an issue on Reddit but definitely an issue here. Since then, I have switched to infinity for Reddit and kept using free apps.

    Now on lemmy, I still use free apps (mainly voyager) and wouldn't pay money for sync.

    On an additional note, I see the developer of boost doing something similar.

  • A dedicated button for the camera is something good that I use but I would love to see these two things:

    1. The button placed in an easy to reach area of the phone.
    2. The option to map different camera functions to it. Press for a photo, double press for video, hold for selfie, etc.
  • Reddit really lives on old content. Loads of useful advice from real people, helpful recommendations, and questions and answers make Reddit still relevant.

    It's a different story for new content though. Videos and images have been reposted as hell, AskReddit now just revolves around asking the same set of questions, and a lot of niche communities have slowed down.
