  • Two wrongs does not make one right.

If Hamas wants to fight the IDF without the involvement of Hosptials, Schools, and old peoples homes it is free to fight in the open battlefield, it had plenty of support from Iran, plenty of weapons, plenty of Islamic Jihadi's who WANT to die for Islam, it was more than capable of doing this but instead it chose to invade and quickly slaughter as many innocent civilians as it could as quickly as it could

On top of this Hamas was voted in by Palestinians knowing full well what they wanted to do AND had popular support well up until only a few months ago

    Understanding Hamas’s Genocidal Ideology

A close read of Hamas’s founding documents clearly shows its intentions.

You can turn around and cry when you're losing all you want but reality speaks for itself, Palestine wasn't innocent here, if Ukraine had been busy shooting rockets into Russia, had been kidnapping Russians and stabbing them to death, had co-ordinated with terrorist states like Iran to antagonise the shit out of Russia support for them would be 50/50 at best

You're free to walk down the street in outrage at the Taliban's treatment of Afghani women or the massacres on the Tutisi's or the massacres across the Sahel or the treatment of Russians who don't want to join the army, just don't expect many people to be there

The citizens of Palestine got what they voted for and so did the Israeli's

I hate that 2/3 of my fellow citizens support this, either directly or or tacitly by choosing not to vote.

    And so did the Americans

  • 😎

  • No worries sport, just imagine if you spent more time promoting australia and europe and

    <insert good places here>

instead of giving attention to things you hate

  • i tried but there's just not enough content here, so I'm primarily lemmy maybe 40% of the time and reddit the other 60%

  • pretty influential on you

  • you sure love America eh?

  • your corporate IT department stick you with copilot as well eh? Yours go all the way and force you to use MS Edge, MS Teams, MS Windows, MS Sharepoint and every other Microsoft product as well? It's included with Office365!!!

  • your daily supply charge is $5?

  • tbh if this causes the whole school system to be re-evaluated I'll be happy, school was so utterly streamlined and boring it felt more like a daycare than a genuine place to learn and improve

Cheating found to be rife in British schools and universities

This article is more than 10 years old

    https://www.theguardian.com/education/2015/jun/15/cheating-rife-in-uk-education-system-dispatches-investigation-shows

Chinese students and their parents fight for the right to cheat

Not cheating, they said, would put them at a disadvantage in a country where student cheating has become standard practice.

And it wouldn't surprise me if it was literally everywhere, the push for schooling isn't to learn, it's to pass a test, so the incentive isn't to learn, it's to pass the test anyway you can

Maybe there is a lot more interaction in the future between students and teachers, you can have an assignment, study X, upload it on the web portal, and then maybe the next day there will be a 1 on 1 review where the student has to explain parts of it to ensure they understand what they're doing

With AI I'm spending more of my time reading code than writing these days and I like to understand what I'm reading

  • For everyone else you want to wait until all retailers have announced their price increases

From 1 July 2025, prices will rise across the 3 areas. Residential consumers will see increases ranging from 0.5% to 9.7% depending on their usage and location. The price rises for small businesses will range from 0.8% to 8.5%, depending on the same factors.

    https://www.energy.gov.au/news/australian-energy-regulator-releases-new-default-electricity-prices

So very likely most/all electricity retailers will pass this on, some just earlier than others

  • that just sounds like bad financial discipline with extra steps

  • how badly can you be abused by a twitter clone service you voluntarily agree to sign up to ?

  • Hmmmm...

  • I was thinking that like how everyone is skipping a 5th generation fighter jet and going straight to 6th generation, why not just skip over world war v3 and go straight to world war v4 with all the fighting done by robots and drones?

  • 🫡 belated happy cake day to you too :) I just noticed we both signed up within 2 days of each other

  • Why did you short url a wikipedia link with google?
