Not sure about the majority of Europe but as far as I'm aware you can still find lead or ceramic pipes in parts of the UK. Some plumbing is still Victorian as well I think, thanks to a lack of investment from the water companies.

Brit here, but we put any style of onion on and in anything, raw onion, fried onion, pickled onion, caramelized onion or onion chutney, take your pick.

Ah, I'm a Brit, I've been going through this with the NHS and while the eye clinic did mention the cross linking and possible transplant. They were very much of the opinion that it was a measure of last resort and would only consider it if my eyes got drastically worse.

No worries, just thought I'd provide a viewpoint as someone who has no other option than contact lenses.

Trust me, if I could I would much rather wear glasses, be far more comfortable than using the small plunger I need to use to get my lenses out.

I have keratoconus, so unfortunately glasses aren't an option for me. I have to wear these rigid plastic contact lenses to correct for my corneas which bulge outwards kinda like little cones.

All I can think of is Lisbeth slander from the millennium series. That's pretty kickass.

Reminds me of Junji Ito's Enigma of amigara fault.

I've only pirated one game recently and that's only because you can't really get it legally anymore.

Fuck you Microsoft for killing games for windows live and killing a bunch of PC games in the process.

There have been a few, some didn't leave the drawing board, others actually got made.
